Page 1 of 14 Dr. Muzaffar Azim [email protected] ( 9718385887) Dr. Muzaffar Azim has been working at Jamia Millia Islamia for last 17 years and has been actively involved in Teaching, Research & Development activities of the Centre besides performing various technical assignments. He is the convener of the Centre’s Research Committee and is guiding Ph.D. students at the Centre. He is the Technical Coordinator for the Development and Implementation of the MIS system and has played a critical role in making the university a pioneer central university by implementing a fully integrated 18-module ERP system popularly known as Jamia-MIS, which provides transactional support to all functional requirements of the university ranging from admission of students to conduct of classes, recruitment of staff to retirement procedures, payroll etc. In the World Education Summit - 2011, the Jamia Millia Islamia got the Best Jury Award for the “Best ICT Enabled Institution of Higher Learning” for the ‘File Tracking System’ utility developed by the FTK-Centre for Information Technology. Dr. Muzaffar Azim has been working at Jamia Millia Islamia for last 17 years and has been

actively involved in Teaching, Research & Development activities of the Centre besides

Description : Ministry of National Development (MND) has more than 600 officers working

officers to log their time daily from anywhere in Singapore, using Internet.

System also allows Project Managers to enter Project details. The data thus

that it sends automatic e-mails to users at various checkpoints.

Description : Land Transport Authority (LTA ) has more than 2500 Employees working for

it. The Electronics Transport Claim System (ETCS) allows the employee to

enter their Transport claim . The payable Amount is calculated & validated for

certain rules. Then the Claim is electronically routed though Certifying Officer

and approved by approving Officer before Payment. An automatic mail is

generated by the System at various stages and sent to all concerned. The

Claimant can also see the status of his Transport claim at any point of time. The

System also generates various MIS Reports required for the Management.

Description : MEARS is a solution that improves the accuracy of traffic information and

improves the commercial vehicle enforcement program by reducing the state-

wide incidence of commercial vehicle overweight occurrence and decreasing the

Order and Sales Accounting. In this on-line Transaction Processing System

different Coal Consumers submit the application and deposit the draft for the

issuance of sale order and collect the sale Order at the end of the day.
