DETAILS OF QUALIFICATIONS/ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC,
CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC
like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with
the University Grants Commission (Minimum
Standards and Procedure for awarded of M.Phil./Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 of
2016 and their amendments from time to time
as the case may be:
Provided that the, candidates registered
for the Ph.D. degree prior to July 11,
2009, shall be governed by the provisions
of the then existing Ordinances / Bye-
laws / Regulations of the Institution
awarding the degree, and such Ph.D.
candidates shall be exempted from the
requirement of NET/SLET/SET for
recruitment and appointment of Assistant
Professor or equivalent positions in
Universities/Colleges / Institutions subject
to the fulfilment of the following
conditions:-
a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has
been awarded in the regular mode
b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at
least two external examiners;
c) Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has
been conducted;
d) The candidate has published two research
papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of
which at least one is in a refereed journal;
e) The candidate has presented at least two
papers based on his/her Ph.D work in
conferences /seminars sponsored /
funded/ supported by the
UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
Note:
(i) The fulfilment of these conditions is to be
authorized by competent authority.
(ii) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be
required for candidates in such Master’s
Programmes for which NET/SLET/SET is
not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or
similar test accredited by the UGC like
SLET/SET
(iii) Must have knowledge of digitalized
library system.
(iv) Person with having LL.B will be
preferred.
(v) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric.
2. Junior Programmer 1. First division B.E. / B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Software
Engineering/ Information Technology / Electronic & Communication Engineering.
OR
First class master Degree in computer Application / MCA / M.Sc. Comp. Sc. or
equivalent.
OR
Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent with 60% marks & having
minimum 3 years experience
2. Should be familiar with Programming Techniques and commonly used Software
package.
3. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric.
3. Junior Engineer 1. B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 2 year in
Construction and Maintenance work.
OR 3 year Diploma in Civil Engineering from
recognized institutions through regular mode
preferably 3 year experience of construction and maintenance work in Govt./Public
Building.
2. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric. 3. Candidate should have good computer

4. Store Keeper (Graduate) 1. A Bachelor’s Degree. 2. Minimum 2 year experience in Store and

5. Assistant
1. A Bachelor’s Degree, with minimum 5 years’ office experience in Clerical Cadre
University/Govt. Department /College/Higher
educational institutions/Govt./ Semi Govt /Govt. Aided College/PSU / Corporation.
2. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric. 3. Candidate should have good computer
knowledge.
6. Personal Assistant 1. A Bachelor’s Degree. 2. Minimum 2 year experience as Senior Scale
Stenographer and minimum 4 year as Junior
Scale Stenographer & subject to passing such
test as may be prescribed by the competent authority.
3. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric. 4. Candidate should have good computer
knowledge.
7. Information Assistant 1. 3 year Polytechnic Diploma in IT or Computer Science & Application.
2. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric.
8. Driver 1. Matric Pass. 2. Must possess valid Driving Licence for heavy
and light vehicles.
3. Minimum 3 year experience in driving heavy and light vehicles in University/Govt.
Department/ Higher educational
institutions/Govt./Semi Govt/ /Govt. Aided College/PSU/ Corporation without any
Accidental History.
4. Need to qualify Entrance and Driving Skill test.
5. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric.
9. Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator
1. Graduate in any discipline. 2. Typing speed of minimum 30 words per minute in English converted with
equivalent key depressions as the typing
speed would be tested on computers. 3. The candidate shall have to qualify the test as prescribed by the Competent Authority.
4. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard.
10. Daftri 1. Graduation in any discipline. 2. Knowledge of Computer Application &
maintenance of Office Record. 3. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric
SELECTION CRITERIA FOR GROUP-C POSTS
The Committee recommends the Selection criteria based on following weightage points for consideration of
the Executive Council:
i) Written Test : 80 marks
ii) Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience : 10 marks (certificates to be furnished in prescribed annexures Attached as A-I, A-II, B-I, B-II, D-I & E-I)
iii) Interview : 10 marks
Total : 100 Marks
The marks of experience and Socio-Economic Criteria are to be allocated as follows:
(a) If no person from among the applicant’s father, mother, spouse, brothers, sisters, sons and
daughters is, was or has been a regular employee in any Department / Board /Corporation/
Company /Statutory Body / Commission / Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State
Government or Government of India.
(5 Marks)
(b) Orphan/Widow:-
i. If the applicant is a Widow; or
ii. If the applicant is the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age
of 42 years; or
iii. If the applicant is the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had
attained the age of 15 years. ( 5 Marks)
(c) If the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas) or Nomadic tribe of
Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class
(5 Marks)
(d) Experience: One – half (0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six months of experience
out of a maximum of 10 years, of Clerical cadre or on the same or a higher post in any
Department/ University/Govt. Department/College/ Higher Educational Institutions/ Govt./Semi
Govt./ Govt. Aided College/PSU/ Board / Corporation / Company / Statutory Body / Commission /
Authority of Government of Haryana or any State Govt. or Govt. of India.

No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks under category Socio-Economic Criteria under
any circumstances.
(e) The written exam shall be divided into two portions comprising:
i. 60 marks for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi and
concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
ii. 20 marks for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture
etc. of Haryana.
iii. Qualifying typing/computer/shorthand test.
Note: - The test will be of 80 marks & the candidate will have to secure minimum 50 percent marks of the
aggregate of the entrance test.
Minimum 20 times candidates (as per merit prepared on the basis of written test and academic
criteria / socio-economic criteria given above) of the advertised post shall be called for
Typing/Computer/Shorthand test, wherever applicable and in case eligible candidates remain less than the
above requirement, all the candidate will be called for Typing/Computer/Short Hand test. The
Typing/Computer/Shorthand test shall be conducted by the University and no relaxation shall be given to
any candidate.
The candidates shall have to qualify the Typing / Computer / Shorthand test at the prescribed
speed, wherever applicable before selection.
In case of other posts, minimum 10 times of the candidates of the advertised post based on the
merit of written test shall be called for the interview.
Notwithstanding anything in the aforesaid criteria, the criteria for the technical/skilled Staff of
Group ‘C’ Posts should be separately prescribed.

GENERAL IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR NON-TEACHING POSTS
The Candidates must go through the following instructions before filling up the application form:
1. The Candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Candidates should carefully read the requisite minimum essential qualifications, age and eligibility,
experience criteria etc. laid down in the advertisement before applying for these posts. Since all the
applications will be screened on the basis of data submitted by the candidate in the online
application form, the candidates must satisfy themselves of the suitability for the position to which
they are applying. If at any stage during the recruitment and selection process, it is found that
candidates have furnished false or wrong information, their candidature will be rejected. The
minimum 18 years and no maximum age limit. But as per University Rules, age of superannuation
is 60 years.
3. Fulfillment of qualifications and experience is an essential requirement. Application once submitted
cannot be altered / resubmitted, under any circumstances. Further, no request with respect to making
changes in any data/ particular entered by the candidate in the Online Application will be
entertained, once the application is submitted successfully. Therefore, please keep all data/ details
ready before you start filling up the Application Online.
4. The candidates of reserved categories of Haryana for which no post is available/reserved, can apply
for the posts of General Category, if he/she fulfill all the eligibility conditions, i.e. age,
qualifications, etc. as meant for General Category candidates except fee and also attach a copy of
the caste certificate for claiming a fee concession. Girl candidates are required to furnish SC/ST
certificate from parent side.
5. The reserved category candidates belonging to other states will compete against the posts meant for
General Category and will be considered as General Category candidates. No fee concession will be
applicable to such candidates.
6. Age relaxation will be considered as per applicable norms of the State Govt. No age relaxation is
admissible to reserved category candidates applying for unreserved (UR) posts.
7. All qualifications must be from recognized Board/Universities/Institutes. Candidates who have
obtained qualifications from any Board/University/Institution declared fake or not recognized by
respective regulatory bodies shall not be eligible for consideration for any of the posts advertised.
8. If a class/division is not awarded, 60% marks & above in aggregate shall be considered equivalent
to first class/division. If a Grade Point System is adopted, the CGPA will be converted into
equivalent marks. The candidate should attach the complete detail about conversion of CGPA into
percentage along with his/her application form, failing which no claim shall be
considered/entertained in any circumstances.
9. The prescribed essential qualifications and experience indicated are bare minimum and mere
possession of the same will not entitle any candidate to be called for test/interview.
10. The applicants are advised to refer the selection criteria for respective posts and the
structure/syllabus of test(s) to be conducted, which is available on the University Website.
11. The vacancies shown in the advertisement are indicative and may increase or decrease at the
discretion of the University or at the resultant vacancies available at the time of selection. The
University reserves the right not to fill-in any of the posts advertised without assigning any reason.
12. No TA/DA is payable for attending the interview/ appearing in any written test.
13. Submission of incomplete application i.e. without self-attested copies of testimonials/academic
certificates/experience certificate etc., prescribed fee shall stands summarily rejected and no
correspondence in this regard shall be entertained in any circumstances.
14. Concealment of facts or supply of wrong information will result in cancellation of candidature at
any time in addition to legal action.
15. The candidates, who are in employment should send their applications through proper channel, or
submit “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer at the time of the document
verification/interview, otherwise their candidature will not be entertained. In order to avoid delays,
the candidate must send an Advance Copy of the printout of the application form to be received well
before the last date of submission.
16. The candidates are advised to keep on visiting the University Website for related updates including
any corrigendum/addendum, date of test/interview, list of shortlisted candidates, etc. Further, no
information in respect of this advertisement shall be published in the newspaper.
17. Separate application form is required to be submitted online for each post with prescribed fee.
18. In case of any dispute /ambiguity /confusion that may occur in the process of selection, the decision
of the Competent Authority of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat shall be final.
19. No correspondence or query will be entertained from the candidates regarding the eligibility, status
of application, postal delays, conduct and result of tests, selection process etc.
20. The Application form and self attested certificate/testimonials along with fee receipt should be soft
binded and indexed with page number at 1st page must reach the University by 04.01.2021 (upto
4:00 PM) in the office of REGISTRAR, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Village
Pallri, Bahalgarh-Meerut Road, S.B.I.T, Sonepat (HARYANA)-131001.
21. Print/Hard copy of the online application along with its enclosure received after due/last date or
incomplete applications shall not be entertained. In case, last date for submission of print/ hard copy
falls on holiday, then next working day shall be treated as last date.
22. Application Processing fee as under can be paid online (Net banking/ Credit Card/UPI/Wallets)
through Non-Teaching Recruitment Portal as per the below schedule:
a) Male (irrespective of State) and Female (Non-Haryana Resident): Rs. 1000/-
b) Female candidates of Haryana Resident are exempted for 50% of fee irrespective of their
category.
c) SC/DSC/BC-A/BC-B/EWS (Haryana Resident): Rs. 250/-
d) Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwB.D.) and Ex-Servicemen (Haryana Resident):
Exempted.
The benefit of reservation and fee concession will be given only to those who are domicile of
Haryana State.
The name of post and Advertisement No. must be mentioned on the top of the envelope.
The documents enclosed with the application form should be self-attested and page numbered.
Note: The applications either not submitted online or printout of the application form received
after due date shall be rejected. The University shall not be responsible for any
postal/courier delay.
