CIAT,

Ever-increasing energy costs, stricter regulations, greater environmental awareness... The challenge facing asset managers is to find the best solution to enhance the value of their sales facilities. In addition to the quality of their design, all new building and renovation projects must take into account the building’s future energy needs and offer its occupants environmentally-friendly surroundings. All CIAT systems are energy-optimised to provide an effective response to this challenge.

Town centre sales outlets

Guaranteed comfort for your customers requires reliable, efficient equipment, installed within the constraints of town centre premises.

Small shopsSmall shops

HCOMPACT 2Designed for heating and cooling shops at the base of high-rise buildings, the HCOMPACT 2 does away with the need for an outdoor unit. These standalone air-to-air units require only a discreet air intake on the shop front. Installed in suspended ceilings, HCOMPACT 2 offers numerous air distribution configurations to suit all projects. Its heating mode may be backed up by electric heaters or hot water coils.

Medium-sized shopsMedium-sized shops

AIRDUOAIRDUO standalone, split, air-to-air units provide heating and cooling, and manage in-shop air quality (clean fresh air supply). AIRDUO can be assembled in numerous configurations to meet the constraints of both renovation projects and new buildings. The comfort of your premises in heating mode may be further optimised by using electric heaters or hot water coils.

The major advantage of AIRDUO : its Free Cooling mode.

Out-of-town retail parks, supermarkets and hypermarkets

FREE COOLING

The Free Cooling mode, optimised by the control system, cools your premises with fresh outdoor air. As the compressor is not running, your electricity consumption is reduced yet you continue to meet your requirements in clean fresh air.

Shopping centres and malls with water loops

Shopping centre developers

and operatorsShop managers

in shopping centres

You must provide a constant temperature water loop to the retailers in your shopping centre. The water loop must be cooled in accordance with sanitary and environmental criteria. Maintenance and running costs must be kept low.

Your CIAT solution: Vextra Aerofresh.

You are obliged to connect to the shopping centre water loop to heat or cool your shop. You need a reliable, easy-to-use system that remains inconspicuous.

Learn about CIAT water loop heat pumps.

VEXTRA AEROFRESHWhen required by the air temperature, the control system starts a counter-flow water mist system, cooling the air by evaporation of the water and optimising heat transfer in the Vextra coils. This technology reduces sound levels and allows for a dry cooler with a smaller footprint. The high pressure water mist ensures that water consumption is minimised in line with health safety requirements.Vextra Aerofresh also facilitates operations for maintenance technicians. The system is reliable even when outdoor temperatures are particularly high, a major benefit for shopping centre operators.

Aim to optimise your shop’s energy consumption with CIAT

Cut your heating costs!Energy recovery on food cooling circuits

A CIAT shell and tube or plate heat exchanger can extract heat energy from your food cooling circuit (before excess heat is discharged outdoors).

The available energy is used in an air handling unit to heat one or more areas of your premises.

Further optimise cold productionCIAT’s exclusive Cool Energy System

Cool Energy System optimises the running of your installation, using the CRISTO’CONTROL smart supervision system to control Cristopia energy storage, water chillers and all auxiliary units. The use of off-peak energy that has a low carbon footprint and is less expensive to store, and the recovery of energy in air handling units, free cooling and accurate control of your shop’s fresh air needs, ensures a high-performance system with optimum efficiency and reduced pollution.

CIAT Shopping Centres designs YOUR climatic engineering system solution. An autonomous, comprehensive, optimised solution which fights wasted energy through simple, tried-and-tested actions. You reduce your overheads while offering your customers a pleasant environment in which to shop.
