PUBLIC NOTICE

Sub: Drawing a Panel of Guest Teachers for Engagement in Delhi GovernmentSchools for the Academic Year 2017-18.

Applications are invited online from amongst the qualified youth for setting up a

panel of Guest Teachers for further engagement to the post(s) of Post Graduate Teacher

(PGT/Lecturer), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Misc. teachers (for Physical

Education, Drawing, Music, Domestic Science & Special Education Teacher categories only)

in Delhi Government Schools, as and when required by the Directorate, for the Academic

year 2017-18

Those guest teachers who have worked in the government schools

under Directorate of Education in the Academic years 2016-17, need not to

apply as their applications are already available in the Directorate

Engagement of Guest Teachers is subject to following Terms & Conditions:

1 Guest Teachers shall be engaged purely on ad-hoc and daily basis till the posts are filled

up on regular basis. Guest Teachers shall not be entitled to regular appointment. This is

purely" a stop-gap arrangement. The candidates so engaged shall not claim salary,

allowances, leaves, facilities and other benefits accruing to the regular teachers. The

candidates so engaged as Guest Teachers shall not file any court case regarding salary and

regularization etc.

2. Directorate of Education will maintain a wait list I panel of candidates to meet any

requirement in the Academic Year 2017-18 Engagement of Guest Teachers will be done as

and when required by SchoollDistrict

3 Reservations and age relaxations to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Disabled

persons will be given as per Govt. orders. The certificate of aBC should be issued by

authority of Govt. of NeT of Delhi Certificate issued by any State/UT will be considered for

SC/ST candidates. The candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped category (Ortho +

VH only) must posses "Disability Certificate" issued from a Government Hospital.

4. Willing candidates may register themselves with anyone District of choice online on our

website www.edudel.nic in from 26/05/2017 (11.00 AM) to 15f06f2017 IUpto 6:00 PM).

Submission of applications other than online shall not be entertained and any deviation in

this regard shall lead to summary rejection. Applicants are instructed not to send any hard

copy of the application to this department

5. Post based district-wise panel will be prepared on the basis of academic merit separately

for each category of applicants namely SC/ST/OBC/Disabled persons and others.

6. School will be allocated to the selected candidates, as and when requested by the

School/District through a computerized programme. Request for change of school shall not

be entertained at any time during the engagement. If the person does not join within given

time. the offer of appointment will be cancelled.

7. As soon as a regular teacher joins the school. the Guest Teachers will be dis-engaged

from that school, irrespective of hisl her standing in the order of merit list initially drawn

district-wise for the purpose of engagement.

8. Only those candidates who have passed Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) will be

considered for TGT posts. However, this condition does not apply for Home Science, Music,

Drawing, Physical Education Teacher and Computer Science Teacher.

9. The order of merit list will be displayed on the website on 23/0612017 (6:00PM). The

selected candidate will be called for engagement as guest teacher, as and when required by

school and the schedule for verification of documents relating to age. qualifications, caste

certificate etc. will be done by HOS concerned.

10 The engagement of Guest Teachers for the current academic session i e. 2017-18 will

be up to 10/05/2018 or the commencement of the summer vacation whichever is earlier.

departmental website and in case of any doubt regarding RRs, the applicants are

advised to take reference from the same. The brief details of eligibility as per

Recruitment Rules are as under..

Candidates with Graduation in two schoolsubjects of which at least one out of the four namely (i)English (ii) Mathematics (iii) Natural Science I PhysicalScience and (iv) Social Science should have been at theelective level.

4.1 TGT English English as main subject at Graduation level with one ofthe following subjects - History I Pol.Science/Economics I commerce,Geography/Agriculture/Horticulture.

4.2 TGT Mathematics Mathematics as main subject with one of the following asSecond subject - Chemistry/Physics/BiologylBetanylComputer Science! ZOOlogy!EngliSh/Commer3e/HistOry!Pol. Science!Economics/ Geography/StatisticsAgriculture.

4.3 TGT (Natural Two or one of .the following as main subjects at

Note: For Urdu Teachers Candidates who possessqualification equivalent to secondary (101h) SI'. Secondary(12th) or equivalent from recognized approved Madarsasand for admitting to B.A. degree and after that highercourses like B.Ed. from a recognized institutions by theUGC are also eligible to apply. Candidate should havestudied the subject concerned in all par years ofGraduation

6. Physical Education Graduate with Bachelor's of Physical Education (BPEd.)

9. Drawing Teacher MA in Drawing and Painting/Fine art from arecognized University. ORBA (Hans) in Art & Art Education, ORB.A.lB.A. with Drawing and Painting /Fine Art/Art withminimum 2 years' full time diploma from a recognizedinstitution, ORHigher Secondaryllntermediate with minimum 4 years' fulltime diploma in Painting/Fine Art from a recognizedinstitution/University.

OTHER IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

1 Condition of passing of CTET does not apply for Home Science, Music, Drawing,Physical Education Teacher, and Computer Science Teacher posts.

2. Marks obtained in CTET will not be considered for purpose of computation of merit.

3. Percentage of marks must be entered up to two places of decimal.

4. The Guest Teachers shall be paid as per the rates mentioned in the following tableWhich have been approved by Han' ble L.G. , GNCTD vide U.O. No. 27930 dated23.02.2017 and 03.032017:-

5. The candidate shall use, Google chrome browser only while filling up application online.

6. The candidate shall fill-up his I her name, Date of Birth, roll number, year of passing etc.as they appear in the pass certificate of class XII Examination. Any deviation in this regardwill lead to disqualification. Candidates in their own interest are advised to fill up all theitems in the online application form carefully and before submitting the form online he/sheshall check the particulars on the "Preview" Screen. Requests for correction what so evershall not be entertained at later stages.
