SNARK & AWE DIGITAL & SOCIAL MEDIA CONSULTANT / FREELANCE 9/2004 TO PRESENT Provide social and digital media guidance for corporations, local small businesses and nonprofits. I also organized two fundraising events and worked with Comcast to provide training for Seattle-based Twestivalnonprofits. My social media based job search campaign was a CNN Money feature story.

I defined audience and influencer engagement strategies, consulted on employee social media policies and provided social media best practices and execution for integrated campaigns. I presented social and digital capabilities and proposed specific client engagements

WAGGENER EDSTROM, BELLEVUE, WA VICE PRESIDENT, DIGITAL STRATEGIES 6/2007 TO 12/2008 Lead digital strategist for all Microsoft accounts. Evaluated agency digital/social fluency and provided training to raise the overall digital competency of account staff. I developed frameworks to encourage the use of search, online video, Facebook, Twitter and other types of conversational/community content to inform and amplify PR and marketing programs. I identified and owned several Microsoft client relationships which led to increased agency revenue and client buy in. I also helped to reorganize the Waggener Edstrom’s disparate services groups into the award-winning WE Studio D team.
