Insert lamp ends into VS lamp holder (A).Make sure that it has been properly locked in place bysliding VS lamp holder towards the middle of the fixture(B)This prevents the lamp from falling out.

NOTE:These lamps have a quartz jacket.Fingerprints and oils must be wiped off prior to operration

Thank you for purchasing the all-new Double Ended Series (240V) 1000W HPS Complete3-Mode Adjustable Fixture.Each ballast uses a high temperature, resin-sealed component board for zero acoustic resonance. Combined with a high PAR value double-eneded HPS bulb and a high-efficiency aluminum reflector, the DE HPS Complete Fixture outperforms conventional Super HPS by up to 15%.

The Complete 3-Mode Adjustable Fixture is supplied with a 240V, 16AWG input cord. By utilizing a microprocessor, the ballast features a Soft-Start technology which is designed to increase lumen performance, prolong lamp service life, and allows multiple ballasts to be ignited at once via staggering fire sequence. The microprocessor precisely dampens the input wattage, and allows adjustments to the output power (Dimmer Switch) with Soft-Dimming Technology to increase lamp service life. Under SDT, power adjustments from 600W to the 1150W setting (approx. 115% of rated maximum power output) will exhibit a gradual change over a period of two minutes instead of a sudden change in lumens. This patented feature is different from conventional digital ballast, which features a single power dimming method that shortens lamp service life dramatically.

Some 240V outlets and control boxes may contain a 4th wire that is a neutral wire which will cause electronic ballasts to malfunction.The correct input should be 2 HOT WIRES and 1 GROUND WIRE.If you have an existing 240 volt circuit that does contain a neutral wire, the neutral wire should be safely capped.If installed with a lighting controller containing a neutral wire, you must completely disconnect the neutral wire from the circuit.Generator ready and flip-board ready: up to a 4 minute delay when switching from one lamp to the next. Ballast must be powered down prior to the light flip. The Soft-Dimming Technology (SDT) gradually changes the lumen output of the lamp over a period of up to two minutes. This may appear as if the dimmer is defective; Highly recommend the use of a photometer to confirm the output.

Power surge, power outage, and overloading may stress or damage the lamp. As a safety feature, this Soft-Start technology also reduces ballast damage caused by a bulb failure. In case of an unexpected shut-off, please disconnect from the power supply, remove the faulty lamp, check for wiring problems, then plug-in the ballast power cord.. Working voltage should NOT be less than 200V.

. When ballast gets overheat, the output power will reduce automatically to protect ballast.
