Walunas In Memory of Walter Cichocki The Polish American Cultural Center Museum is proud to honor the late Walter Cichocki, who was an ongoing member and artist for the Polish American Cultural Center Museum, 308 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19106. Walter Cichocki began his involvement with the Polish American Cultural Center in 1984. He prepared Polish cultural related paintings for various exhibits and also prepared a new coloring contest artwork each year for the October “Polish American Heritage Month” coloring contest which was used by thousands of children in over 20 schools. In 1987, Mr. Cichocki prepared 10 paintings for the Polish American Cultural Center Museum which opened in 1988. His wish was always to promote Polish and Polish American history and culture and he always asked people to support the museum’s efforts so that the Polish heritage would be sustained at the museum in America’s Most Historic Square Mile. His paintings have been enjoyed by millions of visitors since 1988. As we honor Mr. Cichocki, we will honor his request to welcome your donation in his memory. Since it’s inception, this Foundation has now returned more than two million dollars to Upper Darby School District teachers in the form of mini-grants for educational enhancements they could not otherwise afford. This year’s annual Gala, featuring just under 1000 student performers, will also celebrate 20 years of Upper Darby Arts and Education Foundation success. Joseph Batory is a member and supporter of the Polish American Cultural Center Museum in historic Philadelphia. Congratulations and best wishes to Joseph Batory. Sto Lat!

Congratulations Joseph Batory On Saturday, January 20, 2018, Joseph Batory, a former Upper Darby School Distrct Superintendent, will be honored as “Father of the Foundation” for his visionary creation of one of the ONLY Arts and Education Foundations in the State of Pennsylvania at the Upper Darby Gala.
