is was a twelve week project, paid for through the Town’s insurance company. e Johnston Department of Public Works employees, and Recreation Department employees participated with the construction along with Ben Nascenzi, Deputy DPW Director, CBO/ZO who completed the electrical work, inspectors Tom Autiello their Plumbing Inspector, John MacDonald their Electrical Inspector, Lou Prata, Recreation Department Foreman and Arnold Vecchione, DPW Director. Mayor Polisena did oversee the project as a whole and throughout the project was adamant that the Town stayed within the rebuild budget – the rebuild budget amount was determined by the Town’s insurance company and staying within the budget they provided ensured that the Town did not have to absorb any costs for rebuilding.
