Don’t let me go...

I once watched over my loved ones,

Protecting them,

Shared everything with them,

But as soon as the sun sets the blue sky into a blazing midst.

My whole heaven starts to fall apart,

My wings are no more,

But is just a vague memory of my happiness,

And so, i close my eyes...

To fall,

To fall into my own ocean of despair,

To drown in my own tears,

And finally stop breathing...

As i was about to let my soul be free,

U swam in my own ocean to save me,

You held me tight in your arms,

Close to your heart...

Even though my wings are torn from my back,

My heart is broken into pieces,

And my soul is tainted by my sins,

You still save me...

And i know,

Even though my ocean’s tides were merciless,

And the distance you had to swim in order to save me,

Was almost impossible,

You won’t admit it and kept on smiling in front of me...

But why?

Why do you keep smiling?

Keep believing in things that are impossible,

Hoping for a miracle will happen,

And change everyone...

I ask u these questions as u held close,

And you answered,

“I’ve found my reasons... so you have to find yours”

And with those words,

My mind went to a deep sleep,

My body froze and felt numb,

I just couldn’t think anymore...

But one thing that made my heart starts to beat again,

Is the only thing that’s keeping me alive,

Is to find my answers,

Is to find my reason for smiling again...

But i will always remember,

How your chest felt,

How you carry me to the shore,

And gave me new life...

I’ll always remember,

The beating of your heart,

And your voice...
