What a year Struttins’ calves have had in the show ring and in the sale ring since the 2009 Donors on Ice sale. Her natural bull calf by Midland was 2009/2010 ACA All-American, winning his division as a calf at Louisville, then going on to win Grand Champion Bull at the Forth Worth Stock Show this past January. A heifer calf by Prestige was Senior Chi heifer calf champion at the Junior Nationals this summer. This same heifer went on to sell at Wilson Cattle Co. Production sale in September for $40,000. She also had a heifer calf by Precision that sold for $8,000 in Wilson’s sale. These mating’s should be a sure bet with the smoke craze that has become so popular, not to mention the multiple high sellers and state fair champions sired by Heat Wave and Monopoly.
