Project Manager/Technical Liaison:SunGard, 401 N Broad, Phila PA02/2013 – 3/2015 – Contract Position

● Responsible for project management for Disaster Recovery test for customers assigned. ● Put the appropriate team together to write documentation according to the customer’s

environment. Schedule meetings with the customer and all in-house technical team and manage that team thru to the completion of the test.

● Additional task were to become familiar with the customer’s Data Center and evaluate Procedures written.

● Make sure that all Procedures are completed and ready for review on the date specified on the Project guideline.

● Responsible for creating documentation on UNIX Operating Systems (AIX, HP, Solaris,Linux), VMware (ESX 4.1, ESX 5.0, vSphere),Windows 2003, 2008 Operating Systems, once assigned to you by another teammate.

● Using basic knowledge of these technologies to input customer's technical information into a system, generating reports and creating various documentations for the clients. Take lead in creating the documentation and give recovery advice and managing the team.

Netbackup Engineer:School District of Phila, 440 N Broad, Phila PA10/12 – 01/2013: Contract Position

● Responsible for maintaining and creating documentation on Solaris 10 and LDAP environment. ● Maintaining Netbackup environment and troubleshooting backup issues. Work with Networking,

Oracle group and Security group to ensure design and implementation of infrastructure components are appropriately configured for new environments.

● Currently designing new Netbackup environment, Converting Solaris servers to RHEL VMs. ● Removing spam mail that came in via Zimbra and removing that mail thru the Barracuda systems.

Linux AdminSunGard, King Of Prussia PA12/11 – 01/12: 30 day contract

Install Ubuntu OS along with Java. Patch Ubuntu server. Transfer files via SFTP/FTP from third-party customer. Decrypt files, process the data, encrypt them and transfer them back to customer via SFTP/FTP.

Lead Unix System EngineerIron Mountain Records Management, Collegeville, PA12/00 – 9/11

Responsible for hiring qualified candidates to perform Unix/Linux tasks, evaluating their performance and running daily triage meetings. Train new employees. Currently supporting approximately 20 Linux physical servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.4, 4, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows XP. In charge of creating Infrastructure for POC (Proof of Concept) and reporting my findings to the Director of IT. Currently responsible for designing and building Project build outs including RHEL, Windows and middleware. Governed by strict build guide lines and peer review checklists. SFTP/FTP using Vandyke and VSFTP and some housing Proftpd linked into a LDAP server. Responsible for every FTP and or SFTP process flow which are then distributed to the team. These tasks consist of creating the process flow writing the code for each process flow if necessary. Perform QA (Quality Assurance), set a date and time to put into PRODUCTION. Create the Change Control to be presented before the CAB for approval. My duties also includes configuring FTP, SFTP working with the ESM monitoring group to put monitoring in place for all servers in the Enterprise Infrastructure environment. Work with the Netbackup group to setup and schedule backups for this environment. Coordinate and schedule patching, and installation of operating systems on new Linux boxes and VM. Work with the FireWall group and the Network group along with the NAS group to configure new environments according to the Infrastructure plan created. Performed timely resolution of all Linux tickets in Service Manager including routine support of application servers, web servers, ftp/sftp issues. Setup and maintain remote logging server for UNIX hosts using syslogd. Qualys security scans and threat remediation. Involved in Prod, QA, DEV, PreProd and DR build outs and continued support. Specialize in building environments that are secure and have high availability. Supporting environments in a highly regulated data center complying with Itil standards.

Senior System Specialist Trade Service Systems, Blue Bell PA05/99 – 11/00

In charge of creating RSM (Remote System Management) schedule. Responsible for creating patch bundles for Y2K upgrades and performing the scheduled upgrades. Responsible for five System Specialists, when the support problems are too difficult for them to solve.
