Thank you for giving a kid a Christmas! Approx 75% of the toy collected for
the Salvation Army with Toy Angels are collected at offices like yours. We
couldn’t do it without you!!

Tips for a success At Work Toy Collection
• Set up a collection bin in an open area – use the posters
included here!
• Decorate with Christmas décor
• Host internal staff events (potluck, dress down days) and
encourage staff to bring in toys.
• Encourage your customers and suppliers to donate
• Promote the great work you doing on Facebook and Twitter
with the hashtag #ToyAngels (on Twitter tag @1023jackfm)

The Salvation Army will be distributing most of their toy hampers
December 12 – 16. If you are able to host your office toy collection and
have toys picked up by December 16 that would be greatly appreciated.
All toys collected December 17 – 24 will be used for emergency Christmas hampers this
year and to get a head start on next year’s Christmas hampers.
Children in the age groups below are sometimes difficult to shop for and often
overlooked by donors.
Please use these helpful tips to help give a kid a Christmas.
Infants & BabiesMake sure the toy is age appropriate by the manufacturer’s age rating
(0 – 6 months) and (3 months+) are in highest demand:
• No ‘button’ eyes or noses – features must be soft and sewn on securely
• Package should say ‘Infant Friendly’ or ‘Baby’s First’, ‘Infantino’, etc.
• Developmental toys (Fisher Price, Baby Einstein, Playskool, Leap Frog Baby)
• No small parts
Crafts and board games for ages 3 to 12 are always needed
Children Ages 10 to 12 Years Old• Gift cards (Wal-Mart, Movie Theatres, Old Navy, Chapters/Indigo, etc)
• Electronic games (with batteries), board games, books
• Sports equipment (soccer, basketball, football, hockey, skateboards, scooters)
• Personal care/grooming gift packs and accessories (curling irons, blow dryers)
• Diaries, journals
• Creative and craft supplies
• Purses, knapsacks/backpacks
