A. Prior Experiences NeededThe student should have attained the objectives of the "ins andOuts" of Everyday Contracts (7602.11) and Banking Services(7616.15) prior to enrollment in this course.

2. Divide students into two (2) groups -- plaintiff and defendant.Both groups will aiscuss the same case and present their view-points.

3. The teacher can present a case and the class must solve it byasking for more information and using the inquiring strategy.

4. A student could present a case (similiar to the above paragraph).

D. Mock Trial

Students could he assigned the roles of jury, plafitiff, defendant,and judge, with remaining students acting as the audience. Theycould enact some legal situation involving commercial paper usingoral or written discussion points.

VIII. EVALUATIVE INSTRUMENTS

A. Prohlem Solving

1. Oral class discussionAfter 1 problem has been presented to the class, the teachercould use a checklist to evaluate the participation of eachstudent in the ensuing discussion. Knowledge of the subjectas well as proper presentation of ideas should he taken intoconsideration.

2. Written responsesAfter a pro!)lem has been presented to the class, the studentscould write their individual solutions to this problem usingideas gained in previous studies. The teacher may then evaluatethese ideas and return the papers to the students the nextday. Students should be encouraged to discuss correctionsthat have been made on their papers; this will provide valuablefeedback and will allow an individual student to have his/hergrade adjusted if legitimate grounds can he presented.

B. Pretest and Final Evaluation

Both the pretest and final evaluation should measure the attainmentof all performance objectives of the course.
