612178 Alert Consolidation User Datagram Protocol (UDP) nature ofSNMP traps for VMAX arrays fromSolutions Enabler, the suite fails toreceive and display some alerts. If atrap is lost in the networkcommunication, Solutions Enabler isnot aware of the loss and cannotresend the lost information.

There is not workaround available.

each collector.

Replica, Remote Replica, System Resource)l Attributes, such as, Service Level, Storage

EMC VNXIn Explore > Block Pools Global ,Snap Pools have no pool consumers inthe Consumers column.



In the Storage Capacity Presentedto NAS Report report for individualVNX arrays, the Free Capacity onUsed Disks(GB) column may displaynegative values.



In the Usable Capacity by ServiceLevel report, the columns remainempty when they should display thevalue 0.



Meta LUN performance charts do notcontain any data.



The tooltips in the Usable Capacityand Used by Purpose reports (VNXand Enterprise) do not match the reportdata.

Ignore the tooltips. The report data is correct.


The SolutionPack does not support ESXNFS datastores.



When a pool contains a list of LUN IDsthat collectively exceed 4096characters, the Pool Name does notappear in the Pool Summary report.

1. Navigate to the #/opt/APG/bin/apg.properties.

2. Under the system property, addrestricted.reader.line.size=32768.

3. Wait for 1 hour and then recheck the PoolSummary report for the appearance of PoolName.


The SolutionPack does not tag commonLUNs with all the storage groups towhich the common LUNs are members.

The WS-MAN (Web ServicesManagement) APIgetFCPTargetMapping function returnsincorrect number of LUNs on Windows2003 and 2008.The problem is seen on problem isseen on old HBA models QlogicQLA2340 and QLA2342. These arelegacy HBA IO cards that are supportedonly on older servers running Windows2003 and Windows 2008.

Contact your EMC Customer Service Engineer toobtain the INQ binary executable to fix this issue.
