As in a normal game, player one picksa category with a high green (attack)rating and calls it out.

1. How many cardsshould I have in my deck?This depends on the game - look at therules for suggestions. All games needcharacter cards, so it's important tohave strong ratings, and a minimum of15 cards is best for most games. Makesure both you and your opponent havethe same number of cards in your deck.

2. Which are thebest bonus cards?This really depends on the cards inyour deck. Some cards, like the SonicScrewdriver, give the Doctor a biggerboost than other characters. And ifyour opponent has lots of Slitheen inhis deck, then the Pickled Eggs bonuscard is essential to wipe them out.

3. And what about duplicates?This is something you will have to agreewith whoever you play against. Youcould set a no duplicates rule, or makesure that no more than two cards canbe doubles. It's really up to you.

Hecards in the Exterminator set - tryand get as many of these as possibleand you'll be really tough to beat!But watch out, most cards have atleast one low rating, so there's noguarantee that they're invincible.

WHAT'S HE LIKE? Even thoughJack had a bit of a dodgy past,after he joined the Doctor hewas a real hero and he playeda vital role when the Daleksattacked the Game Station.There's no-one else you'd ratherhave in your corner in a fight.

Ottakes a lot to beat the Daleks

in a straight fight, but it's not

impossible. When they took onthe Mechanoids they found an

enemy that was every bit as tough

as they are.Mechanoids are incredibly strong

robots that were designed to work

on inhospitable planets. They're

almost indestructible, and are

heavily armoured. In short they're

perfect Dalek-fighting machines.

The Daleks came up aginst them

when they chased the Doctor tothe planet Mechanus. The robot

Mechanoids were programmed to

defend their planet and took the

Daleks on in a furious battle,

leaving the Doctor free to escape.

The Daleks threw all their forces

into the fight but they took heavy

losses with the Mechanoids burning

and blasting the Daleks even as

their own numbers went down.

The Mechanoids were so

heavily armoured they could

withstand several Dalek blasts

and their own flame thrower

weapons could burn through

the Daleks' shields and smash

their casings. Of course the

Daleks kept blasting but this

time, they wouldn't win.

In the end the Mechanoids

and the Daleks were too

evenly matched and they

destroyed each other, allowing

the TARDIS to dematerialise as

the Mechanoid city burned

around the metal monsters.
