    One hundred ten (110) elderly people were benefited this year to receive aid from 'OUD INAFRIKA'. With the global crisis everyone is experiencing at this moment, the help given tothese elderly people especially food is very valuable. To receive this help is something thepoor, elderly people are looking forward to every month. They are the ones who is alwaysvulnerable to the effect ofthe global food crisis.This year 2008, better service was given to these elderly poor people. They continuereceiving help from the clinic for their medicines and treatment especially for the onesaffected with podoconiosis or elephantiasis. Others were given extra food supplement likemilk and multivitarnins because of tuberculosis. Christmas season was something special forthem this year. For them, it was Christmas too. With the 100.00 Birr each ofthem receivedthis Christmas, they were able to lay something special on their table to share with theirfamilies. Others were able to buy new clothes they proudly wore in church. lt is always ajoyful feeling to see these elderly people happy and knowing someone there cares for them.The Daughters ofCharity, Danka, Dembidollo is very grateful for the help OUD INAFRIKA is giving to the elderly people ofSamerro Village and Danka. You were able totouch their lives and have given them joy even this may be short lived as they readythemselves to face their Creator. They are now aware that there are people who are helpingthem in order to be relieved from the pangs of hunger and the pains of old age. In behalf ofthese poor elderly people we say our 'THANK YOU' more than our hearts ean say. Godbless you all and your loved ones. More blessings and power to your organization.
