CTAG Voting• WG voting model

– One representative, one vote• Voters from .11, .15, .16• Voting members + editor + chair determine majority

– Majority opinion gets to write the leading sections– Minority opinion writes dissenting section

• Chair voted on by ExComm– Under existing WG rules

• Editor selected by attendees at TAG meeting– Nominations from chair or from the floor

• TAG meetings completely open– Straw polls encouraged– Minutes and other documents to be posted on web site

• TAG can be asked for an opinion by:– Chair, IEEE 802– Majority of 802.11, 15, 16 chairs

• Opinion can be initiated:– At beginning of standards process (PAR)– Before a letter or sponsor ballot

• TAG does not create a recommended practice– While rules permit it, CTAG will not write

recommended practice documents– TAGs do not write standards

• TAG does create a summary document– Outlines issues in coexistence problem– Majority opinion and recommendations– Minority opinion
