• Completed comments with 802.22 on FCC “white spaces” FNPRM– Completed 5 day EC review and filed with FCC

• Held special meeting to determine 802 interest in submitting to IMT Advanced requirements– Well attended and there is an interest

• Review/comment on FDA RF guidelines• Special session on IEEE 802 input to ITU-R on

IMT Advanced requirements– Formalize and begin the process

• Complete response to FCC on 60 GHz issues

Active participation is encouraged!

• 802.18 needs consistent participation from all wireless WGs– Our charter is to provide balanced representation of the

interests of all of the wireless WGs before the FCC and other regulatory bodies

– Other members of wireless WGs who can attend 802.18 as their primary group, or at least substantially, are also encouraged to participate

– Remember … attendance in 802.18 meetings counts towards maintaining your voting rights in your “home WG”
