OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSThis material is intended for trained personnel in firefightingFailure to comply with these instructions and the use of the foam branchpipe above the recommended pressure can be dangerous and can even lead to death.For fires in electrical installations, it is necessary to
1) shut down electrical power as soon as possible2) maintain the biggest possible security distance
Before putting the foam branchpipe in operation, verify:no piece of the equipment has been damaged, broken or missingthe foam branchpipe should not be blockedthe inlet coupling should be connected to the supply hose
We recommend to clean the apparatus with clean water, exterior and interior (operation under pressure) after each use.In the case of repeated use with sea water or brackish water, it is recommended once per year to demount the foam branchpipe and clean all the pieces and reassemble it by following the maintenance procedure (which is in the spare part kit provided upon request). This work can be done in our workshop for which you can request a quote.
PERFORMANCE LIMITS
The foam branchpipe is guaranteed for functioning at the maximum service pressure of 16 bar.Unless stated otherwise, our guarantee does not cover usage above these hydraulic characteristics.

INSTALLATION
Connect the foam branchpipe to an eductor with a supply hoseConnect the eductor to a pump via a supply hoseAttention: you must use an eductor adapted to the foam hose and take into account the pressure loss in the hosesUse a pump that is sufficiently powerful to obtain a pressure of 5 bar at the inlet of the foam branchpipe.
USAGE
Start the pump and increase the pressure to obtain 5 bar at the inlet of the foam branchpipe.Insert the suction hose in the foam containerThe foam is automatically sucked and mixed with water to produce a pre-mix.The foam is created at the outlet of the foam branchpipe.The length of the hoses affects the pressure loss. Take this into account.
