What is a watchman?

• ItwastheOldTestamentequivalentoftheSecondWorldWar’s“AirRaidWarden,”thepersonwhosoundedthealarmasbombersapproachedsothatthepeoplecouldfleetothesafetyoftheshelters.• Inthiscase,the“enemy”ofwhomthepeoplehavetobewareisnoneotherthanYahwehhimself• Ezekielisawatchmanofmatteroflifeordeath:thefocushereisonEzekiel’sresponsibilitytopreachtoall,regardlessoftheirresponse.Heisnottopreachtoindividualsandthesearetwoclassesofpeople.
