Nhu cu in nng trong cc lnh vc cng nghip , nng nghip , dch v v sinh hot tng trng khng ngng i cng vi qu trnh pht trin kinh t . Do i hi rt nhiu cng trnh cung cp in . c bit rt cn cc cng trnh c cht lng cao , m bo cung cp in lin tc , phc v tt cc nghnh trong nn kinh t quc dn.Trong c lnh vc cng nghip l 1 trong cc ngnh kinh t trng im ca t nc, c Nh nc v Chnh ph u tin pht trin v c vai tr quan trng trong k hoch a nc ta tr thnh nc cng nghip vo nm 2020. Thit k cung cp in cho nghnh ny v th l 1 cng vic kh khn, i hi s cn thn cao. Ph ti ca ngnh phn ln l ph ti h loi 1, i hi tin cy cung cp in cao. Di s hng dn ca thy ThS.
