CUMBERLAND FARMS RENOVATION PROGRAM

As one of four General Contractors in North East selected for the Pre-ferred Contractors Program for Cumberland Farms, D.L. Poulin, Inc. has been very busy this summer renovating fourteen Cumberland Farms stores located in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont. These locations include Granby, CT; Torrington, CT; Wethersfield, CT, two locations in Chicopee, MA; Feeding Hills, MA; Hadley, MA; Spring-field, MA; South Hadley, MA; Turners Falls, MA; Brattleboro, VT; Rutland, VT; Windsor, VT; and Woodstock, VT. Each of these projects were completed in a three week time frame while keeping the stores par-tially open for business.

The work consisted of pre-construction permitting, selective demolition, selective site work, exterior bollards, interior slab trenching and patch-ing, steel stud framing and drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, paint-ing, toilet accessories, finish carpentry, wall paneling, doors, frames and hardware, freezer/cooler door installation, gas pump rework, refrigera-tion, plumbing, heating/cooling and electrical.

D. L. Poulin, Inc was recently awarded a contract to construct a ground up Red Robin Gourmet Burger res-taurant in Scarborough, Maine. The 6,000 SF restaurant will be built during the winter months with a com-pletion date of April 2012. This project is the third Red Robin restaurant constructed by D.L. Poulin, Inc. with the other two locations being Milford, CT and Wilbraham, MA.
