Euro-EC under the FP7, during which we are developing plans, regulations will be used during the construction phase.

Establishing infrastructure on this scale, which should serve whole Europe, means that we need to coordinate activities of scientists that are working with imaging in Europe (e.g. biologists and medics who are using imaging technologies, engineers and physicists developing novel technologies, bioinformaticians developing new image analysis software) and also to work close with national funders and governments who will fund the building of this imaging infrastructure.

In this project I am involved in general communication with the public and with the European scientific community (through webpage, newsletters, emails, press releases), with individual scientists who are leading imaging facilitiesBioImaging, and with all other partners on the project. I am also involved in drafting and developing procedures and regulations that will be used for the future operation of the EuroBioImaging (e.g. developing the whole application process for facilities wishing to join EuroBioImaging, planning and organizing the evaluation and selection process, working on criteria they have to fulfill in order to join etc.).
