HOSE COUPLING SAFETY

Use Dixon couplings,retention devices andaccessory products onlyfor their intended service.

All recommendations ofthe Hose Manufacturer,and the CouplingManufacturer, must beemployed with regards toSize, Temperature,Application, Media, andPressure when selectingthe components for ahose assembly.

All finished hoseassemblies should betested in accordance withthe RubberManufacturersAssociationrecommendations.

All hose assembliesshould be thoroughlyinspected prior to eachuse to ensure they areundamaged, andproperly coupled.

Use safety clips oncouplings, and KingSafety Cables onassemblies whererequired by themanufacturer, as wellas State and Federalregulations. (OSHAregulations may beviewed in full on theOSHA website,www.osha.gov.)

Under no circumstancesshould the assemblyworking pressure orworking temperatureexceed the workingpressure or workingtemperature of the lowestrated component(coupling, clamp, ferrule,or hose).
