Welcome to the fifth edition of Mather Lifestyle, the monthly newsletter!

Heartfelt greetings to all the readers, well wishes and our customers! It was indeed my pleasure to note that a

large number of readers have appreciated the earlier issues of our newsletter, Mather Lifestyle and many of you

have also sent me positive suggestions and inputs. I would like to assure you all that these inputs will be carefully

evaluated and implemented.

As communicated earlier, the new professional management at Mather Projects has spent last four and half

months since taking over on 1st July, 2012 in assessing, evaluating and monitoring the various ongoing projects

of Mather and preparing time bound project completion and time lines of each project for interior and final

hand over of the entire project. You would all be happy to note that as per the committed schedule we have

handed over apartments in Berry Woods for interior furnishing. I invite you to visit our various project sites and

witness the progress by yourself. Our Customer Care Team led by Ms. Anu Joseph (India Cell +91 99461 08008)

will be available seven days a week to schedule a visit to your apartment as and when you desire.

Our initiative in bringing you the world class interior designs and project execution has been acknowledged

widely and accepted well. Many of you have approached us with specific requirements in designing your

homes. We would like to emphasise the fact that each home and home owner’s requirements are distinct

and our service helps you make a custom built home. Mr. Rakesh Aibara, Manager, Mather Home Care

(India Cell +91 98462 60000) and his team is dedicated to bring you the best interior designs and project execution

skills from a panel of interior designers under the direct supervision of Mather Home Care. Our panel includes

leading interior designers from Kerala, Mumbai and Dubai.

At Mather, we have constantly been working on improvising and new product development. In fact Mather was

the first in Kerala to introduce quality life style homes. Our projects are always unique and mostly a class apart

catering to the niche segment of the society.

In our past communication, we had expressed our intentions to expand the operations and extend the superior

lifestyle experience offered by Mather Projects in various cities of Kerala. Concepts and planning are underway

to launch township project at Trivandrum & Kannur, ultra luxury apartments in Kasargode, luxury villas at Alwaye &

business apartments at Kochi. We will soon be updating you about the launches.

Mather Projects is participating in the upcoming CREDAI Kerala Property Show to be held on 23rd & 24th November

2012 at Hotel Sheraton, Corniche Road, Abu Dhabi. We look forward to meeting you all to discuss more about our

new project launches and updates of the existing ones.

This month continues to excite us with the festival of lights, Diwali which was followed by Muharram,

the holy festival of Islam.

du Kochi is in the verge to experience the new

multi-tiered metro rail, a brilliant idea by the Kerala Govt. The metro has 10 stops total of the 22 stops. Only prominent junctions will be used as stops. The major stops are Aluva and Pettah. The waste lands are used for the purpose of rail road’s also the feeder buses will be incorporated for the transportation purposes where the metro trains cannot be accessible.

The decision was taken due to the prohibitive cost of land acquisition along the metro’s alignment from Aluva to Pettah. Some metro stations will be shifted by a few meters to make optimal use of vacant and ‘puramboke’ lands in the vicinity. Multi-tier parking lots for all stations have not reached the tables yet. These may be established with private participation.

The main purpose is to shrink the complexities been faced when certain buildings are demolished. This will surely create a more metro like Kochi.

Kerala’s Kochi airport, the fourth largest airport that handles international passengers in India, on Saturday announced has announced its expansion news.

The chairman of Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), told the press that

“We are working out major expansion plans. We will begin discussions with all major airlines operating from here to set up a permanent base in Kochi. We are expecting more chartered flights and also setting up a helicopter hub”.

CIAL - the first airport outside the ambit of the Airports Authority of India - was formed as a public limited company with equity participation from the Kerala government, financial institutions and a large number of NRIs, a majority of which are Keralites based in the Middle East.

The work is on for the seaport-airport road extension. The work for the two very important bridges on the route that will be extended from Kalamassery to the international airport is expected to roll out soon with the land acquisition rates being fixed.

The four-lane road project is expected to be completed in four years. This will provide commuters with an alternative to the congested Aroor-Edapally NH 47 Bypass. At present, the Seaport-Airport Road begins from Karingachira in Tripunithura and ends at Kalamassery.

To begin the work on the two bridges, the committee has fixed the rates. A total of 13.65 hectares of land is required for the total roads extension Rs.662 crore, including the cost of land acquisition.
