76. The Church's social doctrine avails itself of contributions from all branches of knowledge, whatever their source, and has an important interdisciplinary dimension. “In order better to incarnate the one truth about man in different and constantly changing social, economic and political contexts, this teaching enters into dialogue with the various disciplines concerned with man. It assimilates what these disciplines have to contribute”[108]. The social doctrine makes use of the significant contributions of philosophy as well as the descriptive contributions of the human sciences. http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/pontifical_councils/justpeace/documents/rc_pc_justpeace_doc_20060526_compendio-dott-soc_en.html #Social doctrine, evangelization and human promotion

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University presented by Thomas & Jadviga Strubel
Hello Financial Peace People, We had our Second FPU class this past Tuesday. It was another great meeting. We talked about how money can impact relationships and how whether you are single or married, you need an accountability partner if you want to make a change in your habits. Next week we will dive into how to take control of our financial lives with a budgeting approach that has helped countless people get their money working for them! Last Week's Lesson:
Relating with Money
Learn why it's important for spouses to communicate and work together toward success. What are some reasons we should look at the emotional and relational aspects of money? 1. Finance is 80% behavior and only 20% head knowledge. If you want to change your financial situation, you need to change your habits. The math is 6th grade math, it's easy. Behavior is the make or break factor in your budget. 2. The children will learn to do what the parents do. Change that family tree! Kick debt out of your children's lives. Teach them good money habits. 3. Budgeting is a wonderful way to get the communication in a marriage flowing. Money touches almost all areas of life. What a great place to have communication. Next Week's Lesson:
Cash Flow Planning
Learning how to take control of your money starts with a budget.
