Ian’s ramble for the evening included such topics as Politics, honest answers

given to a regulator (VW), Baby Boom-

ers, Intergenerational Living, first

time buyers, retirement and the

changing world we live in. This was fol-

lowed up with an honest look at Chari-

ties and their future

role.

another mini ramble!!!

This evening’s gathering was attend-ed by 16 Rotarians, 1 guest (Sarah

Sims) and a speaker (Ian Price).

After the prayer – ‘We are thankful for this day that you have given us,

for its blessings, its opportunities,

and its challenges. May we appreci-

ate and use each day that comes to

us. Amen,’ we sat down to dine on Minestrone soup and either beef or

vegetable lasagna.

The Loyal Toast followed and then a

10-minute recess for tea/coffee.

The Swindon Young Carer’s Ball is on the 27th Feb and we are try-

ing to get a Rotary table set up

tarians on this table so far.
