Waste issue of Vienna
• appr. 1 million t of rural wastes produced• appr. 36% of which are seperately collected and recycled or
composted• additionally 2 million m³ of sewage sludge• Vienna has a total incineration policy:
-> all non-recyclable wastes are incinerated-> all dewatered sewage sludge is incinerated
