Apologies by Saturday pm please
Joint meeting with Rotary Club of Rockingham tonight.
We welcomed President Paul and Alex Acton along with 12 members and
partners from the Rockingham club.
The meeting was very informal, reports were kept to a minimum, good
fellowship was followed by a very entertaining ‘fine session’
We have a joint Zone 4 meeting scheduled for Monday 16th
November at the
Darius Wells Centre.
Genevieve is very focused on ensuring the success of
the Rotary Global Swimarathon 2016 after the
disappointing cancellation of the 2015 event caused
by the protracted closure of the Kwinana Requatic
Centre Pool. The 2016 event will be held on Sunday 21st February, already the
participation of other Rotary Clubs in our District is looking promising.
PP Mike Nella is still looking for any new or used household goods surplus to
your requirements. Support the Rotaract Monster Garage Sale to be held on 18th
19th
& 20th
September.

Today a man knocked on my door and asked for a small donation towards the local
swimming pool. I gave him a glass of water.

Mick and Paddy were walking home from the pub.
Mick says to Paddy, 'I can’t be bothered to walk all that way.'
'I know,' says Paddy, 'but we've no money for a cab and we've missed the last bus
home.'
'We could steal a bus from the depot,' Mick suggests.
They arrive at the bus depot and Mick tells Paddy to go in and get a bus while he keeps
a look-out.
After shuffling around for ages, Mick shouts, 'Paddy, what are you doing? Have you
not found one yet?'
Paddy shouts back, 'I can’t find a No. 91' I can only see a No 14
'Oh Be Jeysus, ye thick sod, take the No. 14 and we'll walk from the roundabout.
