    Club Meeting 24th

    August 2015

    1. Michael Nella is looking at a inter club visit to Kalgoorlie. The three Kalgoorlie Clubs are

looking at a combined meeting on Saturday 21st November 2015, this will a good opportunity for the old farts to use up some free passes on the train and share some great company.

    2. A combined meeting of the zone 4 Rotary Clubs, is currently been planned for Saturday November 15th with all five clubs holding a joint meeting at the Darius Wells centre, will be a great night

    3. Traffic Events Management course is set for this Thursday 27th August the course covers 12 people regardless of whether 1 or 12 turn up.

    4. Minutes of the zone 4 Presidents meeting are on ClubRunner for all members’ information they are in club documents (Club Services) management. There are some good ideas and I encourage all to at least read them.

    5. Bob Cooper has formed a small committee of 2-3 members to finalise the. Constitution, Standing orders & Visioning

The committee is making very good progress and will to report to the September board meeting on their progress, once done they will be presented to the club and a copy to be sent to district, and also inserted into Rotary Club of Kwinana ClubRunner pages for all to see.

    6. Genevieve Carr at looking at expanding our commitment to the Rotary Swimarathon this year now that the Kwinana pool has been reopened let’s all get behind her and make it bigger then Ben-Hur.

    7. Wendy Cooper will also Chair the Rotary Club of Kwinana involvement in District 9465 Conference, and has already made some prior arrangements using the events page in ClubRunner for accommodation. Great start with nine people confirming their intentions so far. President 2015-16 Max Bird

When wearing a bikini, women reveal 90% of their body....men are so polite they

only look at the covered parts

Today a man knocked on my door and asked for a small donation towards the local

swimming pool. I gave him a glass of water.

That awkward moment when you leave a store without buying anything and all you

can think is "act natural, you're innocent".
