Tyese Hunter – District 6

Tyese Hunter has represented District 6 for the Metropolitan Nashville School Board since 2014. She is a strong advocate for children with disabilities and those who face disadvantages because of income or language barriers. Mrs. Hunter received her bachelor's degree from Auburn University and a master's degree from Tennessee State University. After graduating with her master's degree, she worked as a speech language pathologist the medical field and for three years in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. She is currently a faculty member in the department of speech pathology and audiology at Tennessee State University.
