Disney Cake Pops Supplies 1 baked and cooled yellow cake 1 can of frosting Butter knife Large spoon Baking sheet Parchment paper Lollipop sticks Black, white, blue, pink, red, yellow candy melts Heart sprinkles Dinner mints/jellybeans for Donald’s hat Mini food processor Toothpicks Ice cream scoop EZ Thinz Black frosting Size 1 pastry tip Couplers Small glass bowl 3 small drinking glasses 3 spoons Cake pop stand Toothpicks Directions 1. Cut cake into 4 pieces and crumble ½ of cake in food processor. 2. Mix in 3 - 4 T frosting. 3. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment. 4. Chill 10 min. 5. Melt white candy melts in small glass bowl. Dip lollipop stick in, and insert into cake balls. 6. Cut black candy melts with pastry tip to fit curve of Mickey and Minnie’s head. 7. Melt red chocolate with EZ Thinz. Dip cake balls in chocolate for Mickey, then immediately stick in ears. 8. Melt pink chocolate with EZ Thinz. Dip cake balls in chocolate for Minnie, then immediately stick in ears. 9. Melt white chocolate with EZ Thinz. Dip Donald duck. 10. Melt black chocolate with EZ Thinz. Dip Minnie and Mickey cake pops ¾ of the way in chocolate. 11. Melt blue chocolate in a shallow bowl. Dip sides of Donald duck to make a ‘V.’ 12. Dip jellybeans/dinner mints in blue chocolate. Attach to Donald with black icing, then pipe on thin line for a tail on hat. 13. Melt red chocolate. Use toothpick to make a bow. 14. Melt black chocolate. Place on heart sprinkles, using chocolate to attach to Minnie’s head. 15. Melt white chocolate. Create dots with toothpick on Minnie Mouse. 16. Melt yellow chocolate. Create 2 ovals with toothpick on Mickey Mouse.
