the business education programs that we offer can similarly transform our students into agents of
change that can impact society positively. Our learning ecosystem is therefore designed to deliver a

CHAIRPERSON'S INVITATION
Dr. Shalini R.UrsFounder ChairpersonMYRA School of Business
Ph.D: University of MysoreExecutive Director, International School of Information Management, University of Mysore, Mysore.
The desire to transform higher education seeded the formation of Mysore Royal Academy. Fueled by the wish to be rethinking management
education when global economic scenario is shifting dramatically to emerging market economies—where the bottom of the pyramid is yet to be
served, and demands innovations and entrepreneurship of a different kind, MYRA School of Business was launched in 2012. MYRA is conceived
with an unwavering focus on excellence. Acknowledging that what makes or mars a world-class institution is its faculty, MYRA brings academic
leaders from across the world to teach and effectively bridges the quality gap that affects management education in India.
We have created a platform to nurture future leaders who would build businesses and help contribute to India's economic growth and progress.
MYRA is a unique boutique business school offering individual attention, blending academic rigour with experiential learning to prepare
graduates who have the drive and passion to help transform the business landscape. We enable and empower students to rediscover
themselves and leverage them into a new beginning and a great career in management.
Believing that our economy and society needs not just leaders but IMPACT LEADERS—who can drive profits, the top line, the bottom line and
also create opportunities to impact society, MYRA is committed to create a generation, which creates wealth, employment, and prospects to
impact the world through their jobs/enterprises. We aim to inculcate the idea of 'Shared Value' and not just share holders' value.
At MYRA, we wish to make a difference to the world by preparing business leaders and managers with a social consciousness. All
stakeholders—students, faculty, staff, business, community, and the management come together to LEARN to CREATE economic,
environmental and social value through business. It is about realizing that Shared Value opens up new market based opportunities
for achieving strong profits and growth by entering the untouched market between business and society.
Some of the initiatives that we have undertaken since inception speak for our resolve—be it the release of
customized copy of the book Reverse Innovation by Prof. Vijay Govindarajan of Tuck School of Business during
the launch of MYRA campus by Mr Deepak Parekh, Chairman, HDFC in November 2012; launch of CESBI —
Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Business Innovations in January 2013; or launch of Project
VidyaArthi: Enabled Learning, by Mr. Suneet Singh Tuli, CEO of DataWind (makers of Akaash Tablets) in
November 2013, equity is woven into the fabric of MYRA's learning experience.
We believe that MYRA will transform you into a MYRACLE.
I invite you to come and experience MYRA and “be the change you wish to see in the world!”
Dr. Rajiv K. Sinha Founding Dean,MYRA School of Business
In today's complex and interconnected world, emerging business leaders will need to address new challenges in a rapidly changing
environment that is technologically advanced, socially complex and highly globalised. At MYRA, we aim to prepare our students for a world
yet to be imagined, to manage markets that are yet to emerge, and to lead decisively in situations that cannot be predicted.
We teach the science of management along with the art of leadership, which we view as creative and powerful forces with enormous
potential to improve the well-being of not only India but also that of the world.
Our Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Program for Executives (PGPX) are designed to deliver
life-changing and career-defining learning experiences that will equip you with the tools and skills to deal with confidence and
competence with the dizzy dynamics of the everyday business environment.
Our pedagogy emphasises research-based problem solving, the study of emerging markets and cross-cultural issues, and also on
developing entrepreneurial skills. The often seen turmoil in the financial markets and the rapid erosion of public confidence in large
public corporations call for a concentrated focus on the Triple Bottom Line-to create economic, environmental and social value
through the best business practices.
You will be taught by distinguished faculty of international repute—all of whom realise that it is not only their responsibility to pursue
cutting–edge research and impart wholesome knowledge, but to also broaden your perspectives, inspire innovative thinking, and
steer you along the path to professional success.
Most important, you will be able to interact and network with our diverse and dynamic Founding PGDM and PGPX Class cohorts
who will soon be the Founding Alumni for their respective programs. Coming from 13 different States, 75% of the students in
the PGDM program are boys; 25% girls; 75% carry qualifications in engineering; 20% in commerce and business management; and
5% in science. More than half have work experience ranging from 1 to several years covering diverse industry sectors ranging from
agriculture to aviation to automobiles, human resources to healthcare, information technology to insurance, and tourism to textiles.
Needless to say, they have significantly participated in and contributed to the enrichment of the learning experience at MYRA.
Now, you have such an opportunity too. On behalf of the MYRA School of Business, I invite you to explore all that we
have to offer.

MYRA LEARNING EDGE
The MYRA Learning Ecosystem – 5 Key Differentiators
Global Curriculum
Internationally Renowned Faculty
Immersion Based Learning
1. All programs at MYRA focus on contemporary and connected learning that
recognise India's leadership role among the emerging markets and its unique position in the global economy.
The program curriculum is continually updated to adequately reflect cross cultural business dynamics
providing the needed global learning edge to our students.
2. —All courses at MYRA are taught by eminent
professors from globally recognised schools, who are leading researchers in their respective domains and
regularly publish their papers in academic journals. Such research outcomes are also interwoven into the
curriculum, which in turn enables an understanding of the scientific approach to problem solving. This equips
the student with the capability to analyse real world business scenarios and make better informed and
wholesome business decisions.
3. —Courses at MYRA are taught using the immersion model,
where learning is optimised using a combination of contemporary teaching methodologies spread over
relatively short delivery durations. Our courses are accordingly structured so that the student takes only one or
two courses at a time.
—
10
4. —Our compact, connected campus at Mysore is a
refreshing departure from the stuffy crowded classrooms and narrow corridors that one may usually find.
The architecture fosters an atmosphere of openness that enables learning, collaboration and networking
amongst students, faculty and industry experts. This is further supported by the state of the art library with
both conventional and electronic learning material access, and high speed internet connectivity across the
campus.
5. —MYRA is located within a 3 kilometre radius of industry
giants like Infosys, Wipro, Software Paradigms, Larsen & Toubro, Bharat Earth Movers Ltd, Automotive Axles,
Triveni Engineering, JK Tyres, etc. In the periphery are located other reputed organisations like ABB Ltd,
Nestle, Reid & Taylor, Bhoruka Aluminium, TVS, Brakes India, Jubilant Life Sciences, etc. With improving
national and international access in terms of road, rail and air connectivity and offering significantly better
quality environs, many well known industry names are choosing to set up their newer campuses at Mysore.
This access gives us the opportunity to freely interact with and learn from leading industry practitioners thus
immensely enriching the learning experience at MYRA.

The academic experience has been one of the biggest takeaways at MYRA. I am constantly amazed by the new things I learn every day in the classroom. The faculty are knowledgeable in their respective fields and encourage student participation by facilitating discussions in class. What has struck me most about the Professors at MYRA is how concerned they are about the students learning. The Immersion Model coupled with individual attention given to students ensures that the MYRA experience is right up there among the best.
Karthik Dasari (PGDM)(B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Corporate Law. 3.5+ years of professional experience spanning Crompton Greaves and Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence)
MYRA at first seemed a risk for me in terms of time and money, but two and half months into the program assured me that I had made a wise choice. I relish every moment of the lectures delivered by eminent global faculty. The carefully designed pedagogy integrates classroom and peer learning through team assignments. I am sure that efforts of the founders will make MYRA a premier global B-school and I feel proud to be a part of the founding batch of this nascent institute.
Srinivasan Mohan (PGDM)(B.Tech in Information Technology. 2 years of professional work experience with Infosys Technologies and Goal.com respectively)
If I would have to sum up my experience at MYRA, I would say it has been life-changing. Having some of the best teachers imparting their knowledge in a serene campus at Mysore is the school's standout point. In addition the learning opportunities by means of projects and guest lectures are endless, making it a program which is very much worth the time and money.""

Everything about the college is so overwhelming. The faculty is very erudite and avuncular. They have great expertise with their subjects in the curriculum. The guest lectures conducted are so informative and thought–provoking, I am catapulted into the 7th heaven for enrolling in MYRA and wish to see the transition from a student with 2 years of work experience to an ace business woman handling with grace the trials and tribulations of the corporate world.

So what is MYRA really like? The answer—pretty awesome. It's been a journey of transformation. Joining MYRA is one of the best decisions I have made. Being part of the founding batch, there were numerous doubts about the infrastructure, course, faculty. However, these doubts were quickly put to rest once the program started. The USP of MYRA is the experience of an International MBA at an affordable cost. From the orientation program called Week of Welcome (WoW) and the courses to the infrastructure, faculty and cohort, it truly has been 'A Journey of Transformation'

We believe students bring their professional experience to the class and contribute to the cohort interactions and are able to take away more. However we welcome exceptionally bright fresh graduates who possess drive and confidence. We require our PGPX students to have five or more years of experience. The program assumes foundation knowledge in general, management theory and experience at the managerial level.
