The Board discussed a pri-vate proposal for a dedica-tion of a county bridge for a Plymouth County veteran who died in action serving our Country. The Board does not wish to proceed with approv-ing the naming and dedication project.

The MMCRU FFA Chap-ter recognizes our Discovery Degree recipients.

Discovery FFA Degrees are given out at the chapter level. To be eligible to receive the Discovery FFA Degree from a chapter, the member must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be enrolled in an agricul-tural education class for at least a portion of the school year while in grades 7 – 8.

• Have become a dues pay-ing member of the FFA at the local, region, state, and national levels.

• Participate in at least one local FFA chapter activity out-side of scheduled class time.

• Have a knowledge of agri-culturally related career, own-ership and entrepreneurial opportunities.

• Be familiar with the local FFA chapter program of activi-ties.
