The Plymouth County Board of Supervisors met in the Boardroom on April 14, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. All members were present. All votes follow-ing are aye unless otherwise indicated. Board Chairman Don Kass called the meeting to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Motion by Loutsch, second-ed by Horton, to approve the April 14, 2020 agenda. Motion Carried.

Motion by Horton, sec-onded by Meis, to approve the minutes of the March 31, 2020 meeting. Motion Carried. There was no meeting on April 7, 2020.

Motion by Anderson, sec-

onded by Loutsch, to approve the claims paid on 4/7/2020. Motion Carried.

Motion by Loutsch, sec-onded by Horton, to approve payroll for 4/3/2020 and 4/15/2020. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, sec-onded by Meis, to set the Plymouth County FY 2019-20 budget amendment for 10:00 am on May 5, 2020. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Loutsch, to approve the Plymouth County Recorder’s quarterly report for January thru March 2020 as presented by Recorder Jolynn Goodchild. Motion Carried.

Motion by Meis, second-ed by Horton, to approve the 2020 notice for noxious weeds publication as presented by Weed Commissioner Sherwin Lassen. Motion Carried.

Motion by Meis, seconded by Anderson, to award the bid letting for project LC-261702 for $151,961; project LC-261704 for $294,564; proj-ect LC-181265 for $132,500 all from Richards Construction. Motion Carried.

Motion by Horton, second-ed by Loutsch, to approve a tile crossing permit in Section 17/20 in Fredonia Township on C16 for 2 crossings. Motion Carried.

Motion by Loutsch, sec-onded by Meis, to approve a tile crossing permit in Section 30/31 in Elkhorn Township on C70. Motion Carried.

Motion by Loutsch, to approve a tile crossing permit in Section 9/16 in Johnson Township on 180th St. Died for lack of a second, want the DNR to review first.

The Board discussed a pri-vate proposal for a dedica-tion of a county bridge for a Plymouth County veteran who died in action serving our Country. The Board does not wish to proceed with approv-ing the naming and dedication project.

The Board of Supervisors adjourned the meeting at 11:20 am.

Discovery FFA Degrees are given out at the chapter level. To be eligible to receive the Discovery FFA Degree from a chapter, the member must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be enrolled in an agricul-tural education class for at least a portion of the school year while in grades 7 – 8.

• Have become a dues pay-ing member of the FFA at the local, region, state, and national levels.

• Participate in at least one local FFA chapter activity out-side of scheduled class time.

• Have a knowledge of agri-culturally related career, own-ership and entrepreneurial opportunities.

• Be familiar with the local FFA chapter program of activi-ties.
