Turn your smart phone into a mobile light switch with Advantage Air’s MyPlace App (compatible with Apple iOS7+ and Android v4.1+). Now you can control the lighting to any room, from anywhere in the world. All you need is a home wifi set up and internet enabled on your phone.

The connected home is here. MyLights comes with an 8-inch touchscreen that can double as a tablet. Check emails, order groceries, organise the family calendar, play music…all from one centrally located touchscreen that is permanently powered and wall mounted.

Make life even more comfortable by adding MyAir Series 5 air-conditioning to your home. As it’s also from Advantage Air, it seamlessly integrates with MyLights and works off the MyPlace touchscreen, as well as your smart phone.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY & MYECO BUTTON

Generally, LEDs (at 100% brightness) are much more energy efficient than halogen lights. To save even more energy, use the MyEco function. It automatically dims all your lights - you’ll barely notice the difference in the room lighting, but you’ll see a big drop in your power bill.

the Scenes page. Your lighting will automatically return to that level when you run

that Scene. When you use a light more often than others, it will automatically

show this light on your Home page. Now that’s intuitive.

disturbance, or you arrive home in the wee small hours, you can instantly turn on

all your indoor and outdoor MyLights from your smart phone using the MyPlace

Our intuitive navigation has 4 main sections plus a tab for MyAir Series 5 if you have it installed.

HOME - These are the buttons which are most commonly used on your device. The intuitive system will automatically include them for you.

GROUPS - These are groups of lights e.g. an open plan living area could have a dining group, a kitchen and a living group or they could all be in the same group. You can set groups yourself and your MyPlace will remember.

SCENES - These are light settings. e.g. ‘Movie Night’ where you have most of the living area light dimmed or ‘Sleep Tight’ where the children’s rooms are dimmed to allow them to go to sleep but still have some light in the room.

HELP - Simply tap the help button if assistance is required at any point in time.

This is a general setting which turns on your selection of lights for when you first arrive home. This can be done remotely and can be edited by yourself.

This function turns all the lights off when you leave and can be edited by yourself.

MyEco automatically dims all lights. This significantly reduces power consumption and therefore your energy bill.

To adjust the light level up, tap the large sun icon, and to reduce intensity tap the small icon. The yellow bar at the top of the button displays the light level.

Each group has the ability to turn all of its lights on or off together.

Keep track of your family’s calendar, check emails, pay bills, order groceries, play music, search recipes. Always powered and where you need it, when you need it.

Do you prefer a clean crisp bright light, or a warm moody glow?

MyLights energy efficient LED globes come in a choice of warm,

natural or cool, so you can always be seen in your best light.

The light fittings sit flush with the ceiling and come in a choice

of two contemporary finishes: white or brushed steel. MyLight

fittings can be used inside and out, providing the outdoor area is

undercover like an alfresco or portico.

With the ability to adjust every LED MyLight in your home without

getting up, comes smart energy savings. For instance, if you dim

your smart lights to 50%, you’re running near zero power, which

means you’re saving dollars in the long run.

Dimming your smart lights

Generally, LEDs (at 100% brightness) are much more efficient

than halogen lights. For instance, a house with 60 lights running

for 1.5 hours per day costs the following per year. LED lights give

you real savings.

MyLights can control most 240v lights, for example pendant lights

over your kitchen bench, or perhaps the lights in your driveway.

This is achieved by the MyLights signal switching a relay, so if you

are interested in this capability be sure to discuss this with your

Connected Home or MyLights dealer.

Is MyLights suitable for my home?MyLights can easily be incorporated into any new home build.

However if you’re building a 2-storey home, it must be installed

before the upstairs slab is laid. It can be retrofitted to

existing single-storey homes, but will require a site visit to confirm.NEW SINGLE-STOREY

Remote AccessRemote access is available with MyPlace and MyAir Series 5

products, and utilises your Wifi equipped modem to operate.

You will require a strong wifi connection between the modem

and your wall mounted touchscreen panel, and a stable internet

connection.

Our recommended modem is the TPLink AC1200 Archer D5.

You can find a list of other compatible modems that have been

tested on our website.

Advantage Air endeavours to achieve compatibility with as

many modems as possible, and whilst Remote Access

works fine on most routers, there are some routers

or applications that are not compatible. If your

router is not listed and you experience issues

with the operation of Remote Access, please

contact your IT specialist for help with your

modem settings, or alternatively try one of the

modems listed on our website.
