Mounting Plate
The Edwards Cat. No. 147-10 Mounting Plate when used with the
catalog series 620 Push Buttons (page 10-9) forms a convenient
station that provides emergency call activation.
Designed for single gang mounting.
Used as a switch plate outside hotel rooms accessible to the handi-

Bedside Stations
The Edwards Bedside Station provides emergency call activation.
Calls are placed by pulling one of the attached 6 foot (1.83m) cords.
Cords are replaceable with a standard nylon cord.
Designed for either flush or surface mounting. Unit fits in a stan-
dard single-gang electrical box and plaster cover. For surface
mounting, use a Wiremold surface box. All boxes must have a
minimum depth of 1 3/4" (44mm). Boxes and covers not supplied.
Use in private and semi-private hospital rooms. Use in emergency
stations and patient bath and toilet areas, hospitals, public rest-
rooms, and handicapped areas.

The Edwards 6536-G5 Horn/Strobe is an audible/visual signaling
device that may be used in a variety of system configurations in-
cluding call for assistance applications.

tion. The call may be reset at the initiating station. Cords are re-
placeable with a standard nylon cord.

Call For Assistance Kit
The Edwards 6538-G5 Call For Assistance system is designed for
areas where a call-for-help or an emergency switch is required. The
kit consists of a Cat. No. 6536-G5 horn/strobe for audible and visual
signaling, a Cat. No. 6537 emergency pull cord station, and a Cat.
No. 592 transformer. Each component may also be ordered indi-
vidually. See the applicable component catalog page for a detailed
description of that component.
Use in health care facilities, public rest-rooms, and handicapped
areas.
6536-G5 Horn/Strobe
The Cat. No. 6536-G5 Horn/Strobe is designed for use in a single
gang 2" (51mm) x 4" (102) box located over the door. Each unit con-
tains an audible horn signal which generates an 82 dBA sound pres-
sure level at 10 ft. and a high intensity strobe. See page 14-9.
592 Transformer
The Edwards Cat. No. 592 transformer is used to power the horn/
strobe. It is equipped with a grounding wire and is suitable for instal-
lation in both plastic and metal boxes. See page 11-2.
6537 Pull Cord Stations
The Cat. No. 6537 pull cord station provides emergency call activa-
tion and reset. It has a stainless steel face plate with a DPST
switch. See page 14-10.

Hotel RoomAnnunciator Kit
The Edwards 7005-G5 Hotel Room Annunciator is for use in hotel
rooms and other areas designed to accommodate those with au-
dible, visual, or physical impairments. The kit consists of a Cat. No.
6536-G5 horn/strobe for audible and visual signaling, a Cat. No. 620
push button, a Cat. No 147-10 mounting plate, and a Cat. No. 592
transformer. Each component may also be ordered individually.

tion of that component.

6536-G5 Horn/Strobe
The Cat. No. 6536-G5 Horn/Strobe is designed for use in a single

sure level at 10 ft. and a high intensity candela strobe. See page

592 Transformer
The Edwards Cat. No. 592 transformer is used to power the horn/

Nurse CallAnnunciators
The Edwards 7035 Nurse Call Annunciator provides an unmistak-
able indication when a patient or resident calls. The bull's-eye
lamps are illuminated and an internal buzzer sounds when external
contacts are actuated. The silencing switch on the front of the unit
is used to silence the buzzer. When the switch is in the off posi-
tion, buzzer operation is prevented.
The annunciator may be relamped, without tools, from the front of
the unit.
For flush mounting, use a standard 3 gang box (not supplied); for
surface mounting, use a Wire Mold box (not supplied).
For small audio/visual call and alarm systems. For use in hospital
nurse stations, medical offices, corridors, and treatment rooms.

Nurse CallAnnunciators
The Edwards 7042 Nurse Call Annunciator provides easy to read
indications. Partitioned lamp and socket assemblies prevent cross-
lighting of the translucent indicator windows. Each window is indi-
vidually back lighted. A gentle tone buzzer, with a silencing switch,
provides an audible indication. When the switch is in the off posi-
tion, buzzer operation is prevented.
Flush or surface mount units for large audio/visual call and alarm
systems. For use at hospital nurse stations and other centralized
locations. Wall box is sold separately.

Wall Stations
The Edwards 7603 & 7613 Wall Station provides convenient call ac-
tivation. Calls are placed by simply pushing the locking-type
pushbutton on the front of the station. The 7603 has one button. The
7613 has one button and one white "call placed" lamp. When a call
is made, the lamp on the front of the unit illuminates, thereby assur-
ing the patient that the call has been properly placed. Models avail-
able with face plate engraved "Emergency."
Designed for either flush or surface mounting. Unit fits in a stan-
dard single-gang electrical box and plaster cover. For surface
mounting, use a Wiremold surface box. All boxes must have a
minimum depth of 2 1/4" (57mm). Boxes and covers not supplied.
Use for patient service and staff convenience in all ambulatory pa-
tient areas. Often used in medical facilities, lavatories, and other
areas where pull cords are not required or desired.

Pendant Push Button
The Edwards 7620 Push Button is a low voltage pendant type but-
ton. Its shell is constructed out of shock resistant polypropylene.
The pendant has a locking push feature combined with a momen-
tary contact.
The button has no exposed screws or parts and the shell revolves
360° without damage to the wiring. The button is easily reset by
pressing the collar at any point.
For use as a patient's call button in hospitals and institutions.

Corridor Dome Stations
The Edwards 7633 Series Corridor Dome Stations are for use with
nurse call systems to visually and audibly indicate the placement of
room calls. Stations are available with 2 or 4 lamps; the domes are
designed with barriers between the lamps to prevent visual interfer-
ence of signals.
The 7633 mounts in a standard double gang box with a plaster
cover and a minimum depth of 1 3/4" (44mm). Boxes and plaster
covers not supplied.
For use above entrances to rooms equipped with a bedside call sta-
tion. See 7302 Series on page 14-14.

The Edwards 7641 & 7641R Series Corridor Dome Stations are for
use with nurse call systems to visually indicate the placement of
room calls. Stations are available with 1, 2 or 4 lamps; the domes,
available in white or red, are designed with barriers between the
lamps to prevent visual interference of signals.
The 7641 & 7641R mount in a standard single or double gang box
with a plaster cover and a minimum depth of 1 1/2" (38mm). Boxes
and plaster covers not supplied.
For use above entrances to rooms equipped with a bedside call sta-
tion. See 7302 Series on page 14-14.

Calling Cord Sets
The Edwards Calling Cord Sets are for use with Edwards Cat No.
7930 and 7930L bedside stations. The cord sets have either one
(7675 and 7685) or two (7676 and 7686) dependable positive action
buttons to insure easy placement of calls. The vinyl outer covering
provides a durable insulation that will withstand frequent cleaning
and hard usage without cracking or fraying.
The security clamp firmly attaches to the bed sheets or pillows in a
manner that will not tear or damage them.
For use with nurse call bedside stations.

Wall Stations
The Edwards 7930 & 7930L Wall Stations provide convenient call
activation. Calls are placed by activating a locking button calling
cord. The 7930L has a lamp on the front of the unit which illumi-
nates when a call is made, thereby assuring the patient that the call
has been properly placed. Calls are automatically placed if the call-
ing cord is accidentally pulled from the receptacle. Calling cord
must be ordered separately.
Use in medical buildings, assisted living facilities, and in private
and semi-private hospital rooms.
