The Importance of Good Ink Flow
Apparel printing demands more ink flow thanany other inkjet application. For good ink flowat higher rates, a closed-loop ink delivery systemwith sealed ink cartridges is essential. It will help maintain the critically important pressure balance throughout the ink delivery system. Considerable engineering has gone into AnaJet printers to ensure consistent ink flows. Manymodified document printers marketed as“direct-to-garment” with open ink bottles maynot meet such challenges.

FAQsQ. How long does it take to print a shirt?
A. For a 10”x10” print, it takes 40 to 60 seconds for a white shirt, about 3 minutes for a black shirt, depending on the design and desired ink saturation level.
Q. How does AnaJet compare with other “direct to garment” printers?A. Most such printers are document printers with a garment loading frame underneath. These printers are less than ideal for textile printing. The print speed is too slow and ink flow volume too low to print in a single pass. Open ink bottles used in such systems are not the best way for trouble-free ink flow. AnaJet closed-loop ink delivery system provides for continual ink flow and control of ink volume. It is designed for high speed fabric printing geared for production use.
Q. How do you keep inks from bleeding on the garment?A. AnaJet software has an ink volume test pattern generator. Printing an ink test pattern on your desired fabric shows the optimal ink level setting for perfect results every time.

Ink Delivery System Closed-loop Ink Delivery with Bulk Ink Cartridges
Some of the special advantages available onlywith AnaJet printers are good ink flow and easyblack shirt printing setup.
AnaJet Model FP-125 uses 8 bulk ink cartridges.The ink channels can be configured as two sets ofCMYK (for white garments) or CMYK+ 4 White Inks(for white and black garments). With eitherconfiguration, garments can be printed with vibrantcolors and excellent ink flow.
For most shops, the business will be predominantlywhite and light colored shirt printing, which requiresno white ink. We recommend the two sets of colored ink
configuration for maximum efficiency. For theoccasional black shirt jobs, you can quicklyinstall 4 white ink cartridges. After thecompletion of black shirt jobs, you can easilyrevert back to an all colored ink configuration.
For those who have substantial amount ofdark garment printing business, you maysimply keep the system in a CMYK and Whiteink configuration at all times. It prints bothwhite and black shirts.
Although AnaJet Closed Loop Ink Deliverysystem allows trouble free ink flow withminimum maintenance, users should beaware the white ink requires higher level ofmaintenance than all colored ink setup.
