CONCLUSIONS

The list of Asilialae from the collection d.eposited. in the BruckenthalMugeum includes a valuable though not too -rich material (46 speciesbelonging to 24 genera). fts value consists both in the fact that, the c6tlect-lns.legag {o"iog _the last c_entuly and. was d.one by the reputed entomo-logists G. Strobl, A. Miiller, D. Czektitius inat E. Wo-I e l-!. and also in that the insects were collected from many Bumanianlocalities. It is therefore assumed that the publishins of this colleotionntt U"tp for a better uatlerstanding of ths dislribution-of those predaciousDiptera on the territory of the Rumanian people's Bepub1ii.
