Spring Harvest announces move to HarrogateSpring Harvest, the annual Christian teaching andworship event, which attracts thousands ofChristians, including many Anglicans, hasannounced that it will be held in Harrogate in2018. The traditional Butlins venues at Skegnessand Minehead still remain but Harrogate will become a third centrefrom 3-8 April 2018. More here
Gargoyles and stained glass - 2 cathedral initiativesWakefield and Ripon Cathedrals have both justannounced new initiatives to help preserve andrenew their heritage. At Ripon Cathedral votinghas opened for two new designs by localschoolchildren to replace medieval gargoyles -more here. Meanwhile, at Wakefield,scaffolding has gone up forwork to conserve its famous stained glass - more here

Art meets theology at Bradford Cathedral A series of lectures, events and exhibitions on thetheme of faith and art has got underway atBradford Cathedral. On May 24 at 7pm ,Professor Ben Quash, the Canon Theologian atBradford Cathedral, will pose the question 'CanContemporary Art be Devotional Art?' Team Cycling Challenge for Ride + StrideEach year the Yorkshire Historic ChurchesTrust run an event called Ride + Stride, whichinvolves people getting sponsored to visit asmany churches in a day as they can, either byfoot, on a bike or by car. This year they are introducing a Team Challenge for Cyclists for teams of up to eightcyclists. Find out more here.
