Digital for ThaisAIS is driven to play a part in enhancing the quality of life of the Thai people using technological and communication connections as a key tool for supporting Thais to enter the digital era, while being mindful of its core business. AIS has set the group-wide strategy on corporate social sustainability, aimed at elevating their quality of life using its digital platform and partnerships. The strategy comprises of the 3 dimensions as follow:1. Digital Infrastructure: Expand digital infrastructure for maximum coverage so efficient communication can keep in step with national economic development2. Affordable Products and Services: Support public access to appropriately priced digital communications equipment3. Improve Well-being through Digital Platforms: Create and develop digital platforms that enhance the efficacy of economic and social infrastructure as well

as uplift Thai society, under “Digital for Thais” concept, focusing on five dimensions as follow: 1) Public Health, 2) Digital Literacy, 3) Reduced Inequalities, 4) Environment, and 5) Startups.

AIS is devoted and determined to conducting its business, integrating sustainability business practices in all dimensions. AIS promises to continue to balancing the values of business, social and environmental in accordance with Good Governance, in line with the UN SDGs including:

The Aor Sor Mor Online application was introduced to communities in 2015 for development into an online social communication tool between Tambon Health Promoting Hospitals and Aor Sor Mor.

AIS moves forward with the mission "AIS 5G Combating COVID-19" infull strength by bringing the 5G power to solve the crisis and help Thaisin every region with opening the path for the AIS ROBOTIC LAB team,the first 5G robot development and the only one in Thailand, who isbehind the work of the 5G robot, the first assistant doctor in the country,which has successfully connected the operating system on the 5Gnetwork. These successes can be customized to fulfill the work of eachhospital as well.

DIGITAL LITERACYAunjai CYBER Program

In 2019, AIS has an undeniable role in promoting cyber wellness and online safety and has the ability to play a part in promoting digital technology usage that is beneficial to the economy and society. AIS has the opportunity to innovate new products and solutions to serve customers by focusing on 3 important elements, namely, Prevention, Education, and Awareness to drive forth its Aunjai CYBER which includes;

1. Network Educator : Digital Quotient Promotion (DQ) • AIS joined hands with DQ Institute to formulate a Thai language Digital Intelligence Quotient (DQ) course

consisting of a test and online lessons measuring and building eight DQ skills among children aged 8–12 years

• Collaborated with Thai educational institutions to instill knowledge and understanding in Thai youths using the courses

2. Network Protector Digital Tools for Cyber Protection • Launched the network-based security solution AIS Secure Net to assist in effectively reaching customers at

risk from cyber threats by working instantly without the need for an application download• Partnered with Google to promote use of its Family Link application, aiding guardians in training their

children on appropriate internet usage. 7

REDUCED INEQUALITIESAIS has collaborated with various government agencies, including the Information Technology Foundation, the Border Patrol Police Headquarters, NECTEC, and Wildlife Sanctuary authorities, to implement the “ICT and Integrated Renewable Energy project for marginalized communities initiated by H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn”.

ENVIRONMENTE-Waste

• Improving the environmental quality of life for Thai citizens under the theme “Mission Green 2020”

• Campaigning for greater awareness of environmental issues and encouraging the public to drop off their E-waste at AIS Shops.

• Collaborating with partners with an expertise in logistics and able to set long term plans

• Expanding “Green Phaholyothin” Network

In 2019, AIS has initiated the E-Waste project aiming to educate people on the effects of improper disposal and, in partnership across sectors, collect e-waste for proper and sustainable disposal for a better environment and less residual electronic waste in Thailand.

STARTUPS

In 2011, This business platform is open to startups looking to work with AIS towards further development. AIS supports innovations and technologies and the creation of an ecosystem for moving startups forward, going as far as to assemble resources such as technology and experts to incubate and create business opportunities that will benefit the startups, AIS and the economy.

Over the past 9 years, AIS The Startup has brought about over 47 products and services, spurred the employment of over 2,000 people and generated more than 12 billion Baht in annual circulation.

In 2019, AIS The Startup was chosen as the Best Global Accelerator and Incubator Program at Global Startup Award. The recognition is bestowed upon companies with world-class startup operations.

In 2020, AIS continues to take the operation to the next level by collaborating with startups both inside and outside the country to share knowledge, unlock work boundaries in line with modern innovations such as the upcoming 5G to encourage Thais to experience cutting-edge technology with people all over the world, and including new AIS businesses such as Insurance, Payment, Game, and Video."
