Fiber DAS advantage
Fiber reach the floors instead of reaching the building, one equipment covers one floor, so the signal
source is closer to the antenna, and the loss in transmitting and distributing is low.
covering area is small and targeted. The power distributing is more average, no need to use any line-amplifier.

Huaptec Features 2 : Backup power supply
Each MU or EU has two power modules inside, main power supply is mainly working to support the
whole unit, the back up power module is a hot standby; once main power module has failures, the back
up will work immediately to ensure the network performance. At the same time, power failure alarm will
be sent back immediately for further action

Huaptec Features 3: Movable and tunable
The whole fiber system can be configured easily through
software to support single or multiple sub bands ( I.E, one or
more operators), besides each band can be movable and
tunable
It will be conducted in Master unit, the connected EUs and RUs
will be updated automatically
Frequency movable and tunable function can be carried out by
both local connection and remote connection of GPRS, 3G data,
or SNMP

Huaptec Features 4: Gain and power setting
In each Remote Unit, output power of each separate channel or sub band can be adjusted independently in order to
have a balance in the performance; and each separate channel or sub band can be shut off independently

Huaptec Features 5: Loops
EU and RU can form loops so that the fiber Link will also have back ups, therefore when one link fails, the other link
will start to work to support the RUs in the loop
Example
1. Fiber link 1 to connect with RU1, then RU2, RU3 and RU4.
2. Then Fiber link 2 to connect with RU4, then back to connect with RU3, RU2 and RU1.
Then when RU2 has problem, Fiber link 1 to RU3 and RU4 breaks
However Fiber link 2 will start to work to support RU,4 RU3
Shortcoming: Once loop is applied, the quantity of RUs will be less since the loop link will occupy additional EU ports.

1: Substitution of those newly setup or removal stations Rent has been growing very quickly recently and people don!t like station
setup anymore, so it is quite difficult to find sites, or move them, or even if it can, it takes quite long time and high cost to do so, which is a
big conflict for network deployments, improve network quality or solve complaints.
Fiber DAS has quite compact design, suitable for both indoor and outdoor areas and won!t need special rooms, thus it is quite easy to f ind
sites , quite easy and quick to deploy, and no future maintenance

2. Network Optimization of residential districts Residential districts have two problems
1) The districts get many signals from different cells, there are pollution and frequency handover, and high call drop rate
2) Commercial districts ask for more and more capacity than its original design as time goes on
The solution is to use fiber DAS to bring new carriers, added to the existing cells, to these districts. It is quicker, easier and more cost
effective. And for those residential areas where people are sensitive to RF radiation, camouflaged antennas (road lights, billboards, etc)
can be used without people!s notice.

Coverage of High ways, railways, bridges, valleys and rivers
Multiple series type is quite suitable for these areas and capacity of one sector would be enough asthere are no high traffic demand in these areas, since all signals are coming from one sector, thus
there would be constant coverage without handovers.
