2. Consumer electronics
3. Computers
4. Electronic components
5. Office machinery
6. Instruments and equipment for detecting, measuring, checking and controlling physical phenomena or processes

The data sourcesThe data sources
Each method implies a different use of statistical information taken from the COE database. According to the first method to define ICT sector we use statistical information grouped by individual economic traders, while to define ICT products we use statistical information referred to all goods classified by the CN8 (Combined Nomenclature) code and traded by individual economic traders
ASIA database: ISTAT micro files on all active enterprises
COE database: ISTAT micro files on international trade
