Renaissance sculptures and Roman sculptures share the similarity that they both represent things about religion and

belief as you can see in the sculptures there are normal humans and then

people bigger than the humans

Both Roman and Renaissance sculptures were made from

marble, bronze and limestone

Most Renaissance sculptures are based on stories and events that happened

during the Roman period.

Both Renaissance and Roman sculptures were built using grand

design and they made to the highest of the artists ability

Renaissance and Roman sculptures were both

influenced by Green art

Roman sculptures was a lot more detailed and based on

mythical and made up stories whereas Renaissance

sculptures focus on stories from the bible

Romans copied Greek sculptures whereas Renaissance sculptures were influenced by Greeks and

then changed

Roman sculptures used very accurate detail whilst making sculpture portraits

whereas Renaissance sculptures emphasised their sculptures a lot

Most of the Renaissance sculptures were nude and had people with no clothes on whereas the Roman sculptures were not

of nude people

In Roman sculptures there were beasts and animals which

were not so much used in

the Renaissance
