Experience in the Netherlands with the Seveso II guideline.
The implementation of the Seveso II guideline in the Netherlands requires attention on legal issues, technical interpretations and capacity of the authorities. The experience build-up with operators as well as the involved authorities requires a period of several years. A “center of expertise” was founded for supporting the authorities in technical questions and risk analysis.
