An adjective is a 'describing' word in a sentence which qualifies a noun or noun phrase, giving more information about the object, animal or person signified and underling their characteristics. For example:

Unlike Spanish where the adjetive in a sentence can be located behind or in front of a noun, in English is different since in general, this describing word must be put before the noun or the noun phrase. For example:

An adjetive can be put after the verb To Be: for example:

The room is small

In English are used two grades of comparison: a comparative grade and a superlative grade. For example:

Use the comparative grade to show the difference between two objects, animals or people. Use the structure -er than or more than:

La tolerancia es el respeto y la aceptación de los demás, con sus virtudes y defectos; es la aprobación de la diversidad de culturas, religiones y de cualquiera de nuestras formas de expresión como personas civilizadas.
La tolerancia posibilita ostentar una mente y una actitud abiertas, y la libre comunicación de nuestros pensamientos y sentimientos.Ser tolerantes no denota ser condescendientes, no significa dejar que nos humillen ni quiere decir que seamos permisivos con las injusticias.Tolerancia es reconocer el derecho que cada ser humano tiene de expresar cómo se siente, cómo quiere vivir y cómo percibe el mundo que lo rodea. Significa respetar los valores fundamentales de las personas y reconocer dichos valores en cada una de ellas.

La virtud moral por la que el hombre reconoce que de si mismo solo tiene la nada y el pecado. Todo es un don de Dios de quien todos dependemos y a quien se debe toda la gloria. El hombre humilde no aspira a la grandeza personal que el mundo admira porque ha descubierto que ser hijo de Dios es un valor muy superior. Va tras otros tesoros. No está en competencia. Se ve a sí mismo y al prójimo ante Dios. Es así libre para estimar y dedicarse al amor y al servicio sin desviarse en juicios que no le pertenecen. La humildad no solo se opone al orgullo sino también a la auto abyección (auto humillación) en la que se dejaría de reconocer los dones de Dios y la responsabilidad de ejercitarlos según su voluntad.

El respeto consiste en el reconocimiento de los intereses y sentimientos del otro en una relación. Aunque el término se usa comúnmente en el ámbito de las relaciones interpersonales, también aplica a las relaciones entre grupos de personas, entre países y organizaciones de diversa índole. No es simplemente la consideración o deferencia, sino que implica un verdadero interés no egoísta por el otro más allá de las obligaciones explícitas que puedan existir.A veces se confunde al respeto con alguna conducta en particular, como los buenos modales o la amabilidad, pero el respeto es algo diferente a esto, es una actitud. Esta actitud nace con el reconocimiento del valor de una persona, ya sea inherente o también relacionado con una habilidad o comportamiento. (por ejemplo respetar el "buen juicio" de alguien en particular.

My name is Ronny Alexander Ramos Moreno, i´m 20 years old, I was born in Quibdó- Chocó and I also live there. Nowadays, I do a degree in English teaching and French at Universidad Tecnológica Del Chocó. I’m taking the sixth level. I’m also a volunteer in an elementary school called Antonio Ricaurte located in Jazmin neighborhood. It is supported by Pies Descalsos Foundation. My work there is
helping teachers at time to teach English to third graders. I´m a member of an English and French students group called “EFOD” (English for Our Development). We do community activities in order to impulse the English learning in people from different neighborhoods of the city.

Mi nombre es Ronny Alexander Ramos Moreno, tengo 20 años, nací en Quibdó, Chocó, y yo también viven allí. Hoy en día, tengo una licenciatura en la enseñanza de Inglés y Francés en la Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó. Me llevo el sexto nivel. Yo también soy un voluntario en una escuela primaria llamado Antonio Ricaurte ubicado en el barrio de Jazmin. Es apoyado por la Fundación Pies Descalzos.Mi trabajo allí es ayudar a los profesores a la hora de enseñar Inglés a estudiantes de tercer grado. Soy miembro de un grupo de estudiantes de Inglés y francés llamado "EFOD" (English For Our Development). Realizamos actividades de la comunidad con el fin de impulsar el aprendizaje de Inglés en las personas de diferentes barrios de la ciudad.
