Cattle prices have finally turned and cattle are worth raising again. Withthe decrease in numbers in the North American cow herd prices, shouldremain strong for a few years too come. A glut of grain and cheap feeddoesn’t hurt either. Sales this fall and winter have once again proved thatcharcross calves are in demand and there aren’t enough numbers to fillorders. With salvage prices on herdbulls hitting near the dollar mark, therehas never been a more affordable time to add some top quality younggenetics. Whether Red, Black or White top quality calves still demand apremium.

We at Diamond W are constantly striving for consistancy and to improve all aspects of the quality we sell. Our succesdepends on yours! You can rest assured we will do all we can too make sure you are satisfied.

The 2014 lineup is chalked full of top end genetics and consistant bulls for type and style. There simply is a bull here foreveryone, no matter what color your cow herd is. The bulls are extremely sound, good tempered, full of meat andmuscle and are bred to calve easily. We simply don’t have time for problems. We are calving close to 220 cows with nofull time help. Things have too work and be profitable. These bulls will walk, will work, and add dollars too yourbottom line. They are fed a home made ration designed too grow and develop, not finish. So you know they won’t meltand will last as well.

When I pictured the bulls for thisthe 12th Annual Bull sale, I wasvery impressed with the quality. Ihave pictured these bulls everyyear and this is the best set top tobottom they have ever had in myopinion. There are some definite

breeder bulls here and something for everyone no matter whatyour program is. There are calving ease and mother makinggenetics, in both the red and black Angus bulls, that will helpdevelop the British influence cowherd everyone wants to have. Inthe Charolais there are very easy calving bulls, all the way tosome big performance white and red factor bulls, that will giveany crossbreeding program the Charolais advantage when itcomes time to sell your calves. The Charolais Angus cross hasbeen and will continue to be the industry standard down theroad.

Historically, this is a great place to buy your bulls with excellentquality for dollars available. The Walkers will stand behind theirbulls and make sure that you have a bull to get your cows bredshould something happen to your bull.

No RoomIf it is at all possible to take your bull home sale day, we wouldreally appreciate it. If you simply can’t, don’t worry. We can take theyearling bulls home and care for them at no cost until May 1. Thesebulls must be insured. Two year old bulls will be delivered as soon

as possible after the sale.

Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received insufficient time prior to the sale. Disputes: Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final.Announcements: Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements. Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must be insured.Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association or Canadian Angus Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyerafter payment has been made. Delivery: Assistance will be given in making delivery after the sale. The purchaser agrees shipping arrangements will be at the convenience of the seller, but will be as soon as practical after the sale, at thebuyer’s risk. Breeder Guarantee - Bulls: Should any bull fourteen months of age or over, fail to prove a breeder after being used on cows known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six months following the date of purchase or six months after the bull has reached fourteen months of age. The seller has the right and privilege of six months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is giventhat semen collected from the bull will freeze.Exception Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproductive techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. The seller is not responsible for damagecaused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold or for sickness not apparent at sale time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price. Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sale manager, auctioneer, or sellers assume any responsibility and disclaim any liability, legal orotherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property.
