@ VOA Counter A passenger (VOA subject) comes to
your counter, hands in Passport, but he/she has not done VOA payment.
I.O. : “Excuse me, can I have the receipt of VOA?
Passenger : “Sorry, I don’t have. What should I do?
I.O. : “Well, First, you should go to Bank counter, then you do payment for Visa, after that you get the receipts, one for you and one for Immigration Officer.”
Passenger : “Ok, thank you for your information”
I.O. : “Finally, please queue again to have the Visa sticker and stamp.”
@ Foreigner Counter A visitor is closing to your counter to pick up one of his/her family, and his/her family is already standing in front of your counter.
Visitor : “Good morning! Can you help me?”
I.O. : “Excuse me Sir/Madam, would you please wait outside the Immigration Area?
Visitor : “But, I am waiting for my son”
I.O. : “That’s right Sir/Madam, but this is Immigration Area. No one can enter this area except CIQP, crews and passengers”
Visitor : “In fact, I am a diplomat, here is my card”
I.O. : “Thank you Sir/Madam, I understand that. I will stamp your son’s passport quickly, but please would you mind waiting before the immigration area?”
Passenger in Wrong Counter (Departure) A foreign passenger comes to your counter (Indonesian)…
I.O. : “I am very sorry Sir/Madam, this is Indonesian counter.”
Passenger : “Really? So?”
I.O. : “Would you please go to the foreigner counter right besides this counter?”
Passenger : “I am so sorry sir”
I.O. : “I am very sorry Sir/Madam, this is Diplomatic counter.”
Passenger : “Yes, I know that. So?”
I.O. : “Would you please go to the foreigner counter after the gate? You will see the foreigner counter”
Passenger : “Why shouldn’t I be here? It’s the same thing”
I.O. : “You are right sir/madam. But in Indonesia, there is a regulation and procedure for Immigration Counter.”
Passenger : “But, I still want to have my passport stamp in this counter.”

I.O. : “I am afraid that you are overstay Sir/Madam”
Passenger : “Really?”
I.O. : “Look at this entry date, and what date is today?
Visa on Arrival is valid for 30 days only.”
Passenger : “But, sorry, I don’t know because I did not notice that”
I.O. : “I agree with you Sir/Madam, So you must pay the fine for your overstay. Would you please follow me?
Passenger : “Sure, thank you!
Immigration On Board A VOA passenger is wearing an earphone,
eyes cover while sleeping
I.O. : “Excuse me Sir/Madam” Passenger : “Yes” (waking up and opening the eyes cover) I.O. : “Would you mind taking off your earphones?” Passenger : “No” I.O. : “Immigration Check Sir/Madam. Could I have your passport please?” Passenger : “Here you are!” I.O. : “Can I have your receipt of VOA and AD Card please?” Passenger : “There you are!” I.O. : “Thanks a lot!”
