Designed for a wide variety of sound reinforcement applications, the Tannoy Di5t is a highperformance, ultra compact surface mount weather resistant loudspeaker. A full bandwidthloudspeaker designed for commercial, professional and residential applications where environment durability and high quality sonic performance are required. Indoor or outdoor,these speakers are ideally suited to stereo or monaural background or foreground musicsystems in such applications as diverse as theme parks, retail premises, restaurants andcafés, corporate audio visual, residential developments and houses of worship.

Equipped with Tannoy’s unique and exclusive point source ICT™ 110mm (4.50") drive unit,the Di5t delivers an acoustic performance of outstanding clarity, definition and detail. ThisICT™ (Inductive Coupling Technology) drive unit addresses the two most commoncomponent failures experienced in background music and sound reinforcement systems;the tweeter and the crossover reliability. The use of a wireless electromagnetic tweetermeans that no crossover is required in the design; this therefore ensures that an ICT™ unitcannot be burned out through system misuse or by constant heavy usage. The mineralloaded polypropylene cone material and nitrile rubber surround further enhance durabilityand long-term reliability. The 90 degree conical dispersion characteristic of the speakerensures it can be mounted in either vertical or horizontal orientations on the wall or ceilingwith no compromise to performance and vocal intelligibility.

Available in textured black or white painted finish with matching rubber trims, the outstandingly durable and scuff resistant, high impact polystyrene (HIPS) Di enclosure isweather resistant,rated IP64 to EN60529 (IEC529); a construction fully optimised for consistent performance in adverse conditions indoors or out.

The Di speaker cabinet may be painted to suit the décor of the installation. Further architectural modification is possible by application of alternative colour trims. Two standardcolour trim options are available from stock; enabling black or white product to be suppliedfactory pre-fitted with either red or blue trims.

Other trim colours can also be created to suit specific requirements, but only as a specialorder customisation subject to minimum order quantities. Primarily aimed at corporatebranding applications, this aesthetic flexibility will also enable colour coordination for larger installs.

Transformer version - the Di5tThe Di5t model option is equipped with an internally mounted low insertion loss line transformer for 70V or 100V distributed sound applications. Wattage taps are easily configurable to the following settings via an easily accessible rotary tapping switch, which istop panel mounted under the rubber trim.

Renowned for its extraordinary power handling, high sensitivity, extended frequency response and very low distortion, Tannoy’s Dual Concentric™ provides a wide and con-trolled dispersion ensuring optimum coverage. By placing the high frequency drive unitphysically inside the low frequency driver, Tannoy engineers have created a true pointsource that exhibits constant directivity and unparalleled linearity. Perfect for this type ofapplication, the driver system generates a spherical wave front unaffected by energy loss atthe crossover frequency in either vertical or horizontal planes; allowing highly flexiblespeaker placement on the wall or ceiling with no compromise to performance and vocal intelligibility.

The Dual Concentric™ driver in the Di5 DCt uses a 110mm (4.50") complex multi fibrepaper pulp mix for the mid bass cone to achieve optimum acoustic performance, while acomprehensive resin treatment process ensures the materials weather resistance. Theconcentrically positioned 19mm (0.75") HF unit has a ferrofluid cooled titanium dome, witha neodymium magnet system, equipped with dynamic high frequency protection.

Designed for a wide variety of sound reinforcement applications, the Tannoy Di8 DCt is ahigh performance, ultra compact surface mount weather resistant loudspeaker. A full bandwidth loudspeaker designed for commercial, professional and residential applicationswhere environment durability and high quality sonic performance are required. Indoor or outdoor, these speakers are ideally suited to stereo or monaural background or foregroundmusic systems in such applications as diverse as theme parks, retail premises, restaurantsand cafés, corporate audio visual, residential developments and houses of worship.

Renowned for its extraordinary power handling, high sensitivity, extended frequency responseand very low distortion, Tannoy’s Dual Concentric™ provides a wide and controlled dispersionensuring optimum coverage. By placing the high frequency drive unit physically inside the lowfrequency driver, Tannoy engineers have created a true point source that exhibits constant directivity and unparalleled linearity. Perfect for this type of application, the driver systemgenerates a spherical wave front unaffected by energy loss at the crossover frequency in either vertical or horizontal planes; allowing highly flexible speaker placement on the wall orceiling with no compromise to performance and vocal intelligibility.

The Dual Concentric™ driver in the Di8 DCt uses a 200mm (8.00") complex multi fibre paperpulp mix for the mid bass cone to achieve optimum acoustic performance, while a comprehensiveresin treatment process ensures the materials weather resistance. The concentrically positioned25mm (1.00") HF unit has a ferrofluid cooled titanium dome, with a neodymium magnet system, equipped with dynamic high frequency protection.


The Di speaker cabinet may be painted to suit the décor of the installation. Further architecturalmodification is possible by application of alternative colour trims. Two standard colour trim options are available from stock; enabling black or white product to be supplied factory pre-fittedwith either red or blue trims.

Other trim colours can also be created to suit specific requirements, but only as a specialorder customisation subject to minimum order quantities. Primarily aimed at corporate brandingapplications, this aesthetic flexibility will also enable colour coordination for larger installs.

Transformer version - the Di8 DCtThe Di8 DCt model option is equipped with an internally mounted low insertion loss line transformer for 70V or 100V distributed sound applications. Wattage taps are easily configurableto the following settings via an easily accessible rotary tapping switch, which is bottom panelmounted under the rubber trim.70V: 60W / 30W / 15W / 7.5W / OFF & Low impedance operation100V: 60W / 30W / 15W / OFF & Low impedance operation
