Job Responsibilities:
As RF Drive Test Engineer
GSM:
As a DT Engineer, responsible for the sites to be Optimized after the sites are installed
and started the integration successfully.
Conducting RF Audit to verify the planned location, azimuths, feeder swap, tilts,
handovers and defining neighbors list.
Conducting drive Test to find the coverage of the network and to verify different
parameters such as Rx level, Rx quality, Cell ID, LAC, BSIC, HSN and MAIO as per
defined by the operator.
Analyzing the drive test conducted to find the causes of the call drops, blocked calls,
handover failures, poor quality, poor C/I and other interferences. Routine monitoring of performance reports as a measure of preventive maintenance.
Comparing the quality of service of different operators.
Drive test of Multi band sites.
UMTS:
Monitored RSSI, RSCP, Ec/Io, 3 Way Handoff & 2 Way Handoff.
Finding out Pilot Pollution and removed by doing some Physical Optimization.
Verify with 3G Neighbor List and suggested addition and deletion.
Generated 3G Single site verification report
Monitor the events of soft and softer handover using the e1a, e1b, e1c, e1d for insertion
and removal of active set.
Monitor the IRAT HO using the e3a event message and quality measurement by e2d,
e2f events, UE TX power measurement using event 6d/6b.
Monitor and analyze the statistical drive test data to improve system performance
indicators such as drop calls, block calls, origination failures & handoff features.
Evaluating the effectiveness of network by regular Voice & Video Drive Tests, Data
Drive Tests & its post analysis, remedial measures which include optimization of sites.
Single Cell Functional Test [SCFT].
As RF Engineer-
Giving suggestions for the Cluster Optimization.
Coordinating DT teams.
Analyze & giving suggestions for the issues which we are getting from the field, and
doing the Cluster Optimization successfully by meeting the requirement.

Responsible for a cluster to optimize it by giving suggestions to the DT team to meet
the KPI from the pre drive datas.
After the implementation, from the Post Drive meet the Thresholds which you need to
do as perfect Optimization Engineer.
If there is anything needed to optimize further, then check the parameters, consult with
Sr. Optimizer & do the needful.

Cluster optimization resolving problem related HSDPA,HSUPA, R99.
Analysis of call-drop, handover-failure and Interference in network
