Sustainable Water in Dhigali Maldives We take great pride in our commitment to provide green and sustainable initiatives.One of these green initiatives is to eliminate the use of plastic water bottles and move towards reusable glass bottles using a specially designed eco-friendly water filtration system.

It is with great pleasure that we share the exciting news that Dhigali Maldives resort, has set up a water bottling plant this month and thereby have bid farewell to large amounts of plastic.

The facility, which is subject to strict hygiene standards to ensure the highest quality of water, uses reverse osmosis technology: high pressure pushes sea water through a semi-permeable membrane that holds back any unwanted substances. The water is then mineralized, chilled and ready to be enjoyed by our guests.

The introduction of the water bottling plant is an important element in the resort’s eco-friendly endeavors and a commitment to the protection of environment in the day-to-day operations.

Jungle Educational RoadWe have preserved around 80% of the original vegetation of the islandDhigali Maldives offers you a walk down the tropical jungle trail of the island. The “Jungle Walk”, as it is named.

Universal Foundation Clean-up ProjectDhigali team proudly took part in the first Clean Up event of Universal Foundation, Clean- Care-Preserve event

held on March 2019. In support of this environmental initiative, more than 300 members across the company
