Business planning process 1. The Strategic Outline Case (considered today) describes

the whole development in as much detail as is presently available.

2. ‘Business Case 1’ describes just the pharmacy as an enabling scheme. The estimated cost is £5M, therefore the RUH will be able to formally approve the case (our delegated limit as a non-FT is £5M). Users & the design/construction team are working up the design and construction costs to inform the business case.

3. ‘Business Case 2’ will describe the remaining development, ie. the Therapies Centre and the Cancer care Centre.
